“When you travel, you seek to find outstanding restaurants. Sometimes you win, other times, you don't. The Hudson House is a great find, a winner at every turn! From our initial greeting by the owner, Matt, to the great staff who didn't miss a beat, to the most critical part, the food, there wasn't a moment of regret. We started with a couple of tables shares. We had cheese plate with 3 cheeses, homemade fig jam to die for, fresh thinly sliced honeycrisp apples, delicious grapes, and an oil-infused crustini. Perfect start, followed by the burrata and pumpkin seed salad with carmelized pears and sweet potato chunks. I didn't think it could get better after this. I tried the sweet potato and fennel soup, very warm and hearty on a cold night, and the taste was just as I hoped! A beet and farro salad with radishes hit the mark! My partner had a fresh halibut that was cooked to perfection, served on ramen noodles and baby bok choy, with an array of fresh mushrooms, with a gentle but flavorful broth, but not enough to be called soup. To me, one of the best fish dishes I've tasted in a long time. Our guests, the wedding couple, ordered duck breast confit, and hanger steak. The duck, one of her favorites, was tender, most, cooked properly and seasoned well. It was a hit with her and her mother. The hanger steak was the choice of the groom, a very picky eater. He couldn't stop reaching about how amazing it was! Sadly, we were so full, we couldn't eat dessert. All the desserts are homemade by the owner, and they sounded unbelievable. But I'll have to return another time to speak to them. Finally, ask to sit in the jail cell. The pictures tell only some of the story. It's a wine cellar, a hidden romantic getaway, a reprise of days long gone. Or have a seat at the bar with the locals. Or just come and see the beautiful tin ceiling and walls. No matter what you do here, you won't be disappointed.“

Bellacosa is a treasure and a gem with full marks across the board. Go with a big group and taste all the tapas, get the cheese board, share bottle of excellent wine, and split as many of the taste desserts as you can. Go with a friend you need to catch up with and talk and talk while you eat a handful of tapas and sip wine by the glass (by the bottle or the glass, the wine selection is distinctly superb). Go on a date for a romantic evening of staring into each other’s eyes while gentle jazz or funky beats plays not too loud and not too soft. Every aspect of the menu, the cocktails, the wines, and the space itself is crafted with thoughtfulness and intentionality. These are people who want to provide an elite level of service and they DELIVER. Go at any point of the year for a lovely time!“
“This is not your ordinary pizza joint! ....and I ought to know, spending every Sunday at my grandparents where Fanny, my newly imported from Italy step grandmother who spoke absolutely no english would slave in her tiny box kitchen and prepare the most amazing food for her new family .......so I know Italian food and pizza. .......and so does Joe and his son Joseph, where they lovingly make and ferment for 3 days the most amazing dough utilizing imported ingredients .............which is to eventually become the best pizza you will ever eat. This is more akin to the the Pizza you would find in Italy. (think the thinnest, crispiest crust with the perfect charr from the wood burning brick oven.) San Marzano tomatoes.........fresh ricotta.........permesiano cream..........A popular favorite and one I cannot stop ordering is the 'Snow White'....Cows milk mozzarella, Creamy ricotta, Roasted garlic and drizzles with a Back pepper honey and Pecorino ramqo Cheese.....the menu is very edited and includes vegetarian choices and gluten free options. ..........Great wine selections too.....im quickly sampling every chic on the menu and have been no disappointments.. It is great to have a local place that understands the simplicity of fine ingredients and great food.“

“We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. Our service was perfect too and I will return for sure maybe for dinner to try the other pasta dishes and more pizza.“
“My husband and I went last night for dinner, and we cannot stop talking about how much we enjoyed it. First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing.Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. I have high expectations for cheesecake and theirs did not disappoint. We both left feeling stuffed but in the best way. No notes. 12/10.“
“Great pizza options for both vegans and omnivores. We order takeout pizza from Rini’s every time I visit my friend in the area, and it’s such a treat! The crust is the perfect ratio of crispy/chewy, and they get the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings right. Well seasoned, delicious pizza!“
“I have been coming here for years and in short: I highly recommend it. Not just for wine but for the delicious food, ambiance and the staff is great too. Every time we come here we have a wonderful time, they have literally always brought their A game. I love everything about this restaurant and this review is long overdue.Now the long story:The location is great. Hastings is a 15 minute drive from the city but makes you feel like you're a whole world away. Boro6 is within walking distance of several unique small businesses including a vinyl shop and boutiques. Everything is centrally located on Warburton ave or on Main Street where you can find plentiful parking. The area is a hidden gem and makes you feel like you're actually in a small town as opposed to minutes from NYC. It's perfect for scenic views of the Hudson, an afternoon stroll, then dinner and a glass of wine at Boro6.Now more about the wine bar... it is so nice to see the attention to detail and how much they genuinely care about the dining experience. Everything is hand crafted. The menu has so many options and they add new items often with well thought out pairings making each visit unique. The food is always delicious.THE WINE! In the last year or so they have released their own house blend which we were very excited to try. Needless to say it did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious yet still gives the cozy vibes you desire from a wine bar. The staff is so nice, its evident that the owner really cares as you can tell a lot by the way the staff interacts not just with clients but with each other. When I come back I promise to add pictures to my review but after having yet another wonderful experience here I just needed to take a moment out and give them the kudos they deserve. “I went over to the Garage to celebrate my friends birthday. There are old school arcade games that you and friends can enjoy while ordering drinks. The staff is really friendly and easy going, I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Brooklyn and you're looking for a good time.“
“No question, THE FINEST RESTAURANT in Westchester County, NY. Look you out to eat for a good meal and to be pampered with service. Micheline has the best food north of the City. Period, end of story. From the burger to the fish to the meat, the food is delicious. Always paired with the perfect wine. I'm a beaujolais guy but their selection is vast. My new favorite dish on the menu is the duck and the puree that comes with it. As an appetizer, I love their soups.“

“This is the sister restaurant to Cafe Alaia, just up the street. Vincenzo Alaia keep a close watch on both venues and sees to it that they adhere to the same high standards. The food here is superb (there's a new chef from Italy who is even better than his predecessor) and though the wait staff (in the absence of the wonderful Cesar) is a bit green and easily overwhelmed, it's still a very satisfying place to spend an evening. Great food, a little overpriced, in a warm and inviting atmosphere.“
