Food is excellent, service is excellent, the only possible criticism is it's loud af in there. If you're looking for a quiet dinner, this isn't the place but if you're ok with the noise I can't say enough good things about the quality of food or the top notch service.
Who said there aren't any great, trendy, intimate restaurants in Bergen County with great food????? The Oak House lived up to ALLLL of my expectations when we went out for my wife's birthday dinner recently. We dropped in on a Thursday evening at around 6pm and, at first it was relatively quiet, but boy did it get busy fast. The food is always excellent. Noise level amplifies quickly. The service is wonderful. Personable, bright servers who are attentive. Parking has always been a challenge at this location. Overall, great evening.
