“It was Sunday and I always cook for my elderly dad and myself but this Sunday I was not in the mood to be over a hot stove. I went on the internet and saw rave reviews about Kadyah Soul and told myself I would give it a try. I ordered the Turkey Wings for Dad and Jerk Chicken for myself...long story short...It was the best ordered food I ever had and my dad was SUPER pleased and he is hard to please! “Yes …. Hunty… the food was delicious. The food cost goes by weight. I bought two white containers. Filled with collard greens, jerk chicken macaroni cheese rice and black eyed peas honey wings fried chicken steamed broccoli, turkey wings, beef ribs oxtails Rasta pasta which had a nice spice to it. The turkey wings was okay a little too much salt to me but was still good. The sorrel was also good as well and the steamed vegetables was also executed well also. No soft vegetables. Macaroni and cheese was good also. No complaints from me. You must put gloves on. Which I love places like this. Definitely a great food place . I’m glad I stopped by as a first timer. “My husband and I were at Broken Bow. I ordered at Ran & Gui's kitchen the last minute. So, I ordered whatever they had left which was the catfish bits, BBQ chicken wings, and chicken tenders. I have had catfish in the past which was flavorless. However, Ran & Gui's catfish bites was so flavorful that I didn't need the tartar sauce to enjoy them. My husband loved their chicken tenders and he mostly ate them without the honey mustard sauce. As far as the BBQ chicken wings, they were like regular BBQ chicken wings. We will definitely come back for the catfish and chicken tenders 😊.“

“I finally came here after years of hearing about this place and trying many different options from places in New Rochelle all the way to Nyack. Although the atmosphere is minimal the food is delicious and plentiful. I felt as if I was picking up plates of soul food from my church ladies with the gospel music playing which I did not mind.

I ordered three dinners we tried the fried chicken, collards, yams and one order of mac and cheese that was a mistake we should have gotten more and order of peach cobbler. As my daughter described it she felt like eating this food was like getting a hug from a grandma! None of the food is overly seasoned which my husband and I prefer but seems to be the common mistake a lot of soul food locations are making.

There is a detour near the location which makes parking a little bit of a challenge however, that will not stop me from returning.“
