“Brother's Seafood is excellent! Two courteous and friendly young women prepared and packaged our to go order: fried red snapper, teriyaki baked salmon, collard greens, candied yams, and yellow rice. All dishes were delicious and packaged separately! Looking forward to trying other menu items!“

“I had Kadyah's Soul food for the first time a week ago and I have to say that the flavor of everything was well balanced and pronounced. You never questioned if there needed to be more seasoning. For me personally, I love to simply eat meat, and all the meat that I have tried tasted amazing. Also, despite my meat comment, I loved the yams. Definitely recommend.“
“"Real southern food by real Afro-American cultural southerners ". ? support. We haven't seen or taste this in a long time in Mount Vernon, NY and we need to make sure they stay. In supporting the success and growth of our cultural businesses of this city, we shall rise...Again! Let us rise as Afro-Amercan people as we pull each other up the latter of entrepreneurship by supporting our own cultural businesses, first, that's how we rise together...my people. If another business gives this restaurant less then 5 stars after tasting this food, then you can bet that they are not truly of this food culture - only a real deal Afro-American southerner can do it best?.Shout out to Wheatley Arkansas!Proud Descendent of a "American Black-Owned Farmer" family business?. “Hands ✋? ?? DOWN the BEST Jamaican food in the Bronx! Small in size, colossal flavors though, great selections, excellent customer service, and incredibly tasty food. The portions are insane in comparison to quantity, well beyond worth the money. Small plates to catered trays, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They're cooking on the premises, and it's magic ✨️ ?? Gotta be.. Pictured is a medium Whiting meal ??$14 ... a medium!“
“YOU NEED TO ORDER FROM MISS LORETTA ASAP!! I called at 5pm on a Thursday, this is a family owned business and is not a fast food spot. You WILL get a home cooked meal here.I was looking for a TRUE southern Mac and Cheese and that's exactly what I got. Miss Loretta informed me that a big pan had to be ordered at least a day before, and I didn't mind. But she did call me back to say she could accommodate me and it would be ready by 8 pm! Upon pickup it was super fast and efficient. The gentleman who delivered it to me was so sweet the whole experience was just wonderful. From the call to the last bite of the Mac and cheese.HONEST REVIEW: Mac and Cheese 10/10, every noodle was seasoned to perfection, and you can see the black pepper. The ingredients were balanced so well with SO MUCH CHEESE.What I loved it that you didn't get tired of eating it which tends to happen with some Mac and cheeses. Sometimes it all starts to lose its taste and honestly with every bite I was transported to flavor town.Pros:Family ownedBlack ownedSupport the community Cons: Might be hard looking for the building number but if you are parked right in front of the key food, just move up a little past keyfood and it's that first apartment building on the right“
“Coming from Dallas , OMG food was soooo good I had to go back inside and let boss know… I was so pleased. Food is definitely tasty and not over powering which is a PLUS…Boss lady was patient and allowed to try the jerk chicken which was too spicy for me but it was definitely good… the flavors are really flavoring..Bbq chicken sauce is different and tasty . Tastes like it was made in house which I’m sure it was….Vegetarian options: Vegan sides like yams, boils okra, rice and peas.Kid-friendliness: Nice plant based options like yams, boiled tasty okra, rice and peas and other sides…“
“The food here is scrumptious, well seasoned and ample portions. We got the turkey wings, collard greens, mac and cheese, peach cobbler and extra sides of collards and potato salad. You receive cornbread with your meal. Everything was packed up nicely for us and the restaurant itself is very clean.I realize some complained about the personality of one of the women. However, stay focused on why you’re there. A little crankiness is not a big deal… to me. Also, we never know what someone is dealing with. Honestly, my (customer care) experience was neutral for the most part. Shrugs.Parking: There are usually metered spaces out front. At the most, you might walk a half block.“
“I’m from the Bronx and I ordered from here on Uber. Happy to say that the food came to me still hot :). The Mac and cheese was good I loved the yams and the shrimps was good as well. I know if I would’ve had this straight out the kitchen It would have been way better! Loved my food thank “
