“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy. This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“

“I haven’t had better soul food in all of NYC. It took me a while of living nearby before going in to try it out, because the front isn’t overly flashy. But the owner pulled me over to say hi one time, and the rest is history. You can tell that the staff is like family; not in the toxic way, but in a way where everyone who comes in leaves feeling like a neighbor. I love their rotation of local black/women art, not to mention their schedule for incredible live music. This restaurant has played a huge role in making me feel at home in Brooklyn over the last 5 years, and I know I’m one of many people who feel the same. You can’t go wrong on their menu, so if a great restaurant atmosphere isn’t for you, at least try the food. You won’t regret it.“

I got the sweet chili hot wings and they were so good! Made to order and super fresh and flavorful. The mac and cheese was also great.“

Visiting from the UK we didn't know everything on the menu, but the man behind the counter helped us choose as he chatted gently with the regulars. The food was filling and full of flavour. “I was with a co-worker looking for a place to eat lunch and I simply searched on Yelp for somewhere interesting to go. I love Korean BBQ and I love soul food, so when I saw Memphis "Seoul", I knew we had to try it, and it did not disappoint! We were going to order the meatloaf sliders but once we saw the Tiger Tots with pulled pork smothered with their "fat Elvis" BBQ sauce, we knew we had to order it. If you try Memphis Seoul once, you're going to want to try it again, and again!“

“Ok wow! We've passed by here so many times but it was never open. Serendipitously, we walked by, saw that it was open, and stopped in. We are SO glad we did. My husband and I met "Darrell" who was smiling from behind the counter. Before we even had a chance to browse the menu, he was offering us samples of lemonade and best-seller sides. He offered us 6 different foods from the menu, and even one that wasn't on the menu. The customer experience was off the charts. We got a platter with fried chicken, mac n cheese, and fries. For the $25 price tag, it was worthy. The quality of the food was exactly what we were looking for. This isn't "cheap" soul food by any means. The mac n cheese had the perfect texture, and was perfectly spiced. My husband said the fried chicken was crisp and fresh, Darrell boasted about the fact that they use fresh ingredients only, you can taste it! We dove in way too quick to take a pic, but it was awesome. Their multi fruit lemonade was great too!“
