“Visiting from New Orleans and a friend took us here. I didn’t expect much from a soul food restaurant, since I am a southern girl and good cook I am told, BUT I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! The JD turkey wings, Mac & Cheese, Cabbage and yams!! And don’t forget the potato salad. We LOVED EVERYTHING. The entire staff was friendly and professional. We will be back. It was five of us and we had the rib, chicken, turkey wings, …All cooked to perfection!“

“My husband was craving fried chicken. We stumbled upon this small southern restaurant in Flatbush. When we entered they asked if it was our first time, we replied yes. We were then provided samples of the Mac n cheese, yams, cornbread stuffing, banana pudding and soul punch (non-alcoholic). Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered a platter with fried chicken, potato salad and Mac n cheese as well as a snack box of fried shrimp, salad & dinner roll. Stop by and enjoy the music, vibes, awesome service and delicious food.“

“OMG I visited this restuarant yesterday for the 1st time & the food was so damn good, we decided to pack up & take it home to eat!!. I have never eaten a peice of juicy fried fish, not wet but moist as hell & seasoned to perfection. Them collard greens & yams were so good it didn't make no sense. Diamond was our waitress & she was so hospitable,courteous & patient helping us pack up & order dessert to go. I'm going back there I haven't eaten good soul food like that in years. The atmosphere is very comfortable, clean & the temperature is good, not to cold allowing your food to stay steaming hot as served. Big up to Cornbread the best soul food establishment im bklyn.“

“I ordered a deep fried turkey and lobster fried rice from Blossom’s and when I tell you there wasn’t anything left but bones and gristle. The turkey was seasoned and fried to perfection. The lobster fried rice was also a game changer!! You can’t go wrong ordering anything from their menu. I would like to thank Blossoms for making soul food great again. Last and certainly not least from the bartender to the entire staff was courteous, professional and respectful.“

“this place is BUSSIN! 1st off any place that lets you choose jerk pasta as a side is a major win!!! I got the chicken tender platter with honey garlic chicken and they were cooked to perfection with the right amount of sauce! I don't think they have ranch as a side, luckily I had some in my fridge to dip it in. And idc what anyone says, no matter how good the chicken tender is I want some ranch to dip it in, i'm just sayinnn! The plantains and jerk pasta were so yummy too with a gracious portion!

Don't sleep on the desserts! The cookie butter banana pudding does not miss!!! I'm pretty sure the cookie in it is Biscoff so if you know you know!

“Got my food to go during the West Indian parade and it was the best soul food I had experience so far in NYC, Laurence the chef wasn’t joking about his catfish, the green been also tasted amazing and the Mac and cheese it was definitely different from the average, I’ll be definitely looking forward to have a proper dinner at his venue“

“First time trying Grabdma’s Kutchen. I had the smothered Turkey wings, sweet potatoes, collard greens and Mac and cheese. Every bite was delicious, abd I was full and satisfied just halfway thru. Great Soul Food, and the serviceman was friendly and good to talk to?“

THY BEsT I ever had especially the chicken, and I had pretty much all of them in the 2 visits! Lemon pepper hands down my favorite… I’ve never ordered lemon pepper and it actually taste like lemon pepper! They don’t disappoint at alllll I come from the queens side of Pitkin anyDAY for them. I’m so glad my client canceled today and I was able to drive to them on this beautiful day“

Amazing, generous portions (look at the size of the chicken), perfectly fried chicken, same for the fries, great and super friendly team, I really enjoyed my first meal in Brooklyn thanks to them ?
Their house sauce (which is actually a sort of spicy cocktail sauce) works particularly well with fries and chicken.

You have brought balm to our hearts!
With better dining comfort I would have given 5 stars for sure ? but for eating on the go it's more than enough ?

“seafood platters are the best“

“My first order was at night around 11pm and second order was the next day around 4pm. You can tell the difference between the night and day cook. The food at night was sooooooooooo good I came back the next day and the cook in the day need another job. Tasteless shrimp and the Mac and cheese was too cheesey. I will only go at night for the night cook. But the portion are very very small.“

I tasted a Turkish soda and it was fruity and the best combination of sweet and tangy The salmon SKIN was amazingly crispy! Yes the skin. This Turkish/Mediterranean place is a place I will forever go to and overlooked. The atmosphere of the place felt like me at home so laidback!“
