“I went to St. Mazie's jazz bar for my birthday. I really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. We were placed really close to the band, which was great. The food was a bit average, but the music was worth it! The baby soda jazz band was playing and their style reminds me of guitar blues.“
“My friends and I stopped by to grab a late brunch and enjoyed it. It's very laidback but was the perfect place to grab a drink and a bite. The service was friendly and attentive which I appreciated. Definitely a great spot for a casual meal and drink.“
“I'm Korean, grew up eating Korean food. Everything we ordered was solid and felt very homemade. Definitely on-par with anything you would get in K-town Manhattan. Prices are very reasonable for portions and the restaurant vibes are warm and cozy. I think they opened relatively recently and we were able to chat with the chef for a bit after our meal. He was friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving Korean“
“Great food, great beer, great vibes, great prices. Went with a group of 12 and had a blast. The fish and chips were light and delicate yet incredibly crispy. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Huge beer selection at eight dollars a pint, great value and amazing staff.“
“I have enjoyed eating at Aurora many times since 2010 with my wife, friends and family. The food and service is always consistently good. But when I went this week, I found myself disappointed that they did not serve bread. The waiter told be they do not do it anymore with no explanation. It may be a small thing, but it was significant for me.“
“This place I have gone to twice, and never disappoints. By far my favorite Japanese restaurant. My favorites are the Oyako Don, Onigiri (all of them), and Chicken Katsu Don. Can’t wait to come back!!Parking: Very hard to park so I did carry out.“
“On a day when comfort food was the order of the day, Coney Island House of Wings really delivered. This was my first visit, and I will shout it from the rooftop that this is a business the community should support. The food is fresh and the selections of wing sauces make my taste buds sing. And don't sleep on the waffle fries. They're a meal. Lou, one of the owners, is wonderful to talk to,, and very generous and accommodating! I want to see these Bay Ridge brothers who are educators as well as entrepreneurs, succeed. Patronize and you will taste the good energies in the food.“
“It's been a while since I've stopped in here, but had one of the best, and most fulfilling brunch meals I've had in a long time. Huevo Rancheros. From top to bottom it was almost perfect, from the fresh sliced avocado to the eggs, beans, and perfectly crispy tortilla on the bottom. The brunch special includes one booze breakfast drink, and also a side of home fries that were also delicious and ample in serving size.“
“The bartender was attentive, kind, chill, knowledgeable. Drinks were great. I came after my session of hot yoga next door. Instead of being responsible and going to the grocery store, I decided I needed a cocktail. The music was great, the other patrons were also very low key and chill. I had their HH martini in gin and then in vodka. Great deal and served with a pickled shallot (nostalgic for me and a fave).“
“Definitely don't sleep on this place! I came all the way from Queens to try this place before going to fun with friends. This place had no A/c and was hot as zxcysbd!! But, these tacos were everything. The hot sauce was phenomenal and the spicy margaritas were everything! The waitress was so sweet and made the best suggestions. Definitely order the tostones with that garlic sauce Mayo thing“
“Excellent food with a unique fusion of different tastes. Chicken schnitzel sandwich was amazing. Had the frozen mango margaritas too ??Beet burger was yummy and the mashed potatoes were one of three amazing potato sides (regular and sweet potato fries were also great!).“
“The food was phenomenal and they have the most amazingly long list of side dishes and vegetables. My dinner was the teriyaki salmon which I paired with garlic mashed potatoes and beets with feta and walnuts. It was so delicious! And the service was great, with a relaxing ambiance.“
“I haven’t had better soul food in all of NYC. It took me a while of living nearby before going in to try it out, because the front isn’t overly flashy. But the owner pulled me over to say hi one time, and the rest is history. You can tell that the staff is like family; not in the toxic way, but in a way where everyone who comes in leaves feeling like a neighbor. I love their rotation of local black/women art, not to mention their schedule for incredible live music. This restaurant has played a huge role in making me feel at home in Brooklyn over the last 5 years, and I know I’m one of many people who feel the same. You can’t go wrong on their menu, so if a great restaurant atmosphere isn’t for you, at least try the food. You won’t regret it.“
“This is a nice local hole in the wall - good food, good vibes, and even sweeter service. The place is run by a sweet and accommodating lady who makes a really fking good simple fried chicken sandwich. Warm and soft buttered potato bun, perfectly fried and heated chicken, and a nice coleslaw, nothing else you want to ask for. Her service and care extends beyond the dish and she made me feel so at home. If you're looking for a comforting sandwich with comforting and awesome vibes, please come swing by. 4* for food, 5* for vibes.“
“The employees were fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable about the food.I had the mushroom sauce Chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese... I highly recommend this dish.My wide had the spicy honey chicken sandwich and that also was delicious.“
“Excellent food and wonderful service. Was recommended by a friend of mine. A good alternative to King Souvlaki and with more vegetarian options. Reasonable prices and the lunch special is well worth it! And everything was delicious!Vegetarian options: Falafel, vegan pita, fish options for pescatarians.“
“D'Abrruzo in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY, deserves a solid four stars in my book. I had the pleasure of trying their lamb, chicken, and beef skewers, and each was a flavorful delight. The diverse selection showcased their culinary expertise. A noteworthy feature is their stand at Smorgasburg for food vending, adding to the overall experience. While there's always room for improvement, the delicious skewers and Smorgasburg presence make D'Abrruzo a standout choice.“
“Absolutely fantastic experience at Greedi Vegan!! Had a wonderful date night with plenty of soy-free options, which was a huge plus. The ambiance was perfect from the moment we walked in, with attentive staff and great music setting the mood. While the drinks could have packed a bit more punch, the extensive menu more than made up for it. We opted for the jerk chicken bowl with oyster mushrooms, and the portions were generous and delicious. Will definitely be returning for another memorable evening!“
“Small spot but definitely worth it. The wait isn’t too long, prices are amazing, and the food is to die for. I tried the Yaroa, Patacon, Cheese Empanadas, Lemonade, and Passionfruit Drink. All outstanding. My favorite were the empanadas. The ice was so COLD it didn’t melt even when coming home. $50 for 3 people, not bad. Try it out ?“
“WOW! The food was delicious, exceeded any expectations, service was great! I am so happy I stopped in for dinner.I got the Jerk Salmon - mouthwatering delicious, perfectly cooked & flavoredCoconut Rice & beans - perfect coconut flavor, rice was cooked just rightCollard greens - very tastyMac n cheese - soooo goood! It was the perfect ratio of macaroni to cheeseDessert: Nana’s pudding & I’m so glad they weren’t sold out because it was the best I ever had. It was nice and fluffy, right amount of cookies and bananas. The portions were generous as well and the packaging kept everything from mixing and spilling.Inside was very festive and decorated for valentines, great music! This is one of my new favorite restaurants.Overall everything was perfect & I’ll be back!“
“Delicious pasta either great ambience in the backyard. We visited last year in the fall and I got demolished by mosquitoes. We got 2 pastas and a burrata. One pasta was delicious and the other felt a bit bland. Overall cute date place if you are craving Italian and it's close by, but not a place to go out of your way to visit from another area. It's good for the location and great addition to local addition to bedstuy Overall food was good but felt a bit overpriced. I think it's mostly because of location and lack of competition in the area. Burrata wasn't worth 17 dollars. And everything felt 1-3 dollars too expensive. Service was good and ambience was great. Not sure if I'll be visiting again but maybe if friends really want pasta.“
