“We recently stopped by to check out The Common's new wine bar - The Uncommon Wine Bar.

The food and drinks were great. It amazing how they transition the space every day from a day time restaurant to a very classy and cozy wine bar. All the apps our group tasted were excellent. There is a nice selection of wine by the bottle and by the glass and a few beers and coffees available as well.

All seating is at tables (i.e., there is no bar) which makes the atmosphere quite relaxed. There are no entrees per se, but we managed to make a full meal out of the apps and charcuterie available. The service was great, very pleasant and attentive.“

“I have enjoyed eating at Aurora many times since 2010 with my wife, friends and family.The food and service is always consistently good. But when I went this week, I found myself disappointed that they did not serve bread. The waiter told be they do not do it anymore with no explanation. It may be a small thing, but it was significant for me.“

Update: they no longer have shuffleboard and I am not sure about the comedy shows BUT their Chicken Cheese Nachos is BANGING!“

“Love this place!!! We come for dinner on the regular. Chill ambiance, delicious food, friendly service, and good Korean beers (in cute chilled glasses).

Favorites: Padak (fried chicken w scallions), kimmari, tteok-bok-ki. The bibimbap with bulgogi and a fried egg is also great.

If you like banana flavor, they make a really nice banana milk latte during the day.“

“I wanted to express what a delight Time Out Market location brought my daughter and I. We were on a 3 hour tour, and they stopped at DUMBO for photo opts and mentioned this place of business as a reference to where the free public restroom was. 😆 Our ears perked up because we heard pickles. After we explored the views, we went in and ordered some deep fried pickles and a pint of dill to go. Those were the best deep fried pickles we've ever enjoyed. The batter on them was unlike anything we've had and the dipping sauce was delicious. We got back to the hotel room, at 10:30 at night and devoured the entire container of pickles and drank all the juice. This was the third day that we were in NYC and we've done a lot of exploring, and that $6 pint of pickles was all we needed to refresh for our trip home the next day. “So this hidden gem is AMAZING! I went with my family and I will never forget the hospitality. I had salmon and omg it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was the freshest salmon I tasted and was on a bed of rice so healthy and still tasty! I tasted a Turkish soda and it was fruity and the best combination of sweet and tangy The salmon SKIN was amazingly crispy! Yes the skin. This Turkish/Mediterranean place is a place I will forever go to and overlooked. The atmosphere of the place felt like me at home so laidback!“

It had the crispy plantain ends on the she's to give it the crunch and then beef was seasoned perfectly, alongside the tomato and lettuce.
