Listen if I had to go to DR but come to NY just for the food, this is the place for me!! On IG @JadaExploresAll has the insights to this place but the food is AMAZING! I have no complaints and will most definitely travel back to BK just to eat here. Love the energy. Wait time is long but WORTH IT!!
As a fellow Latino restaurant owner myself, I wanted to give Antojitos BK a try, and let me tell you, I was blown away by the flavors of my Picadera platter, everything was fresh, the loganiza was cooked perfectly and flavorful, the chicken was crispy and flavorful, the carne frita was fried to perfection and had excellent texture and flavor, all topped with Dominican wasakaka sauce, which I call the secret weapon because boom an explosion of flavors hit me hard! Small spot but definitely worth it. The wait isn’t too long, prices are amazing, and the food is to die for. I tried the Yaroa, Patacon, Cheese Empanadas, Lemonade, and Passionfruit Drink. All outstanding. My favorite were the empanadas. The ice was so COLD it didn’t melt even when coming home. $50 for 3 people, not bad. Try it out ?
