The plantain beef sandwich was exactly what I was looking for in Sunset Park with my husband. It had the crispy plantain ends on the she's to give it the crunch and then beef was seasoned perfectly, alongside the tomato and lettuce. The sauce is what brought it altogether though for me, definitely recommend local gem 💎
I hate to share this information because I know I will never get in again. Antojitos of Brooklyn by the R Train Stop at Union Street is absolutely outstanding! With the Nor Easter torrential rains I stepped in to get something to eat. I was greeted by Hostess Verenice who could not have been any nicer. The food is amazing and they have great deals on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday the empanadas are on $2 and on Wednesday the chimis are only $5.
