“A calm and pleasant spot for lunch.
I came during the afternoon and the place was quiet.
The staff was very friendly and even asked how the meal was at the end.
Note: It’s self-service.
Food: The hand-pulled noodles and broth were fresh and excellent.
The fried side dish was crispy and flavorful.
Drink: The iced black tea with mango was light and very refreshing.
Tip: As you can see in the video - the portions are very generous.
I recommend ordering a small size because I couldn’t finish it.
Seating: I sat by the window facing the street. It was nice to eat and watch Broadway at the same time.
There’s also an inner bar table closer to the kitchen.
The place is clean and the surrounding area feels calm and safe.
Price: Very affordable and filling.
This was my first time trying authentic Chinese food and I was pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommend and worth saving for a real local meal.“

“Cute little Thai eatery in upper east side, but there are a handful a tables for dining in.
Loved the lunch specials which come with a choice of appetizer. I went with the spring rolls, which is the correct choice when pairing with a pork pad see ew. I really enjoyed the flavor and consistency of the protein.
My wife went with the chicken pad see ew, and she found it a bit salty.
Regardless of the salt level, the grating sounds of a jackhammer tearing up the street directly outside the front door does not make for appealing ambiance, especially when the door keeps sticking in an open position every time someone enters or leaves.“

“Loopy's is the best. Just finished some of their delicious Bibim Bop. The Apps are good too - Summer Rolls were crunchy and the shrimp fresh and fried dumplings were delish also. Definitely recommend, eaten here dozens of times and always consistently great.“

“Wow! After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“This place has become a fixture in my life. I had my last beer here before my son was born. I've held receptions here for the passing of family members. They've always come through. Super friendly staff. The food is a cut above bar food (this isn't a white cloth place), and it's unique and excellent. They also keep a pretty exciting rotation of beers. Love this place!“
“EXCEPTIONAL Food & Service. Billy and Tom are awesome, friendly and professional. The food is so yummy and I would recommend them to any events that you're having from weddings, going-away parties, birthdays, memorials, etc. Keep up the fantastic work that you're doing.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. Nice little spot and such friendly people. Heading back very soon“

“We came to New York for a few days and had an amazing Brunch at Old John’s Diner. The coffee (an important factor!) was amazing, and the food delicious! Also the decoration is very beautiful. We were assisted by Evelyn, and she was amazing! If you go definitely ask for her service, and have some of the delicious pancakes!“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“I only have one word for the delicious and tasty food I just had: Fantastic! I want to eat like that every day! I opted for a delivery from Wonder and was looking for something satisfying for my diet and I’m glad I tried DIG INN, the delivery was fast and the order was accurate since I chose the “Make Your Own Bowl” option. I went for: Steak, char-chicken, sweet potatoes, avocado, carrots and a lemon wedge. The recipe for a healthy and protein rich meal! It was so great I seriously thought of having another round at it as soon as I finished. Now I know where to order when I need a protein-filled dinner! Great discovery, can’t wait to order again! This was exactly what I was looking for today!“

The food is consistently good. The portions are generous. The service has always been excellent. In a city filled with good places to eat, this will always be on my list of stops when I visit.“

“I came in for a quick meal and really enjoyed it. I initially got a breakfast burrito but they were out of tortillas so I got it on ciabatta instead and it made for a tasty sandwich. The vibe was nice and relaxed and my server Mattias was attentive. Will definitely come back!“

“It’s our new place! We’ve been maybe 8 times in two months and the staff (Billie and Beer!!!) made us feel instantly welcomed! Listen, we LOVE larb (and at first we’re sad they didn’t have one) but we tried their What’s Zaaab (it’s fun to say and to eat) and it’s like larb only the chicken is little pieces and crispy and it is INSANE! We’ve had it every time we’ve been and we’ve been experimenting with our second dish and their Pad Sii Ew Gai is the perfect companion dish. Their crispy dumplings are also great. The place is chic and cozy and the vibe is lovely! We’ll be back in a few days!“

“I had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of quality ingredients. The service was just as impressive: the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome without ever being intrusive.
The atmosphere was perfect — warm, inviting, and comfortable, with just the right balance between lively and relaxing. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a special night out, this place really delivers on both great food and a great vibe.
Highly recommend and definitely looking forward to coming back!“

“EDIT: I’ve had a fantastic conversation with the owner. The customer service and measures taken to rectify the situation was above and beyond. It is the bet response for a small business.
My colleague and I visit here several times a month because the food is so tasty.
The portion is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s a lot and other times it’s a little.
What’s consistent is the nasty attitude of one particular server. Never a smile, always a sharp, low impatient monotone tone. Every time she is the one to take my order I cringe, tense and ensure not to match her energy. Today I couldn’t take it anymore because today I didn’t get the kimchi I craved, that I asked for twice. Instead I got dry lettuce and some sort of sauce on it in a bowl.“
“Took my parents here for Mothers Day and had arranged to meet my brother in law and his wife for lunch. We had 1 PM tickets to the Whitney across the street so we there at 11 when it opened and waited about 10 minutes for my BIL. Sitting outside not in the tent felt like NYC, the noises, the people, smells were typical New York. The food was great too.“

“The popcorn soft serve is actually so good. I thought at first it was going to taste like pure butter, they’re is actually a nice balance of butter, salt, and a flavor that can only be described as butterscotch I suppose. They also stack this ice cream super high, so for the price you really get your money’s worth. I also got the bag of biscuits. They were buttery and tasted really homemade. I honestly ate the whole bag in a day because they were so good. The butter they came with was also really good. I can’t wait to come back here so I can try more!“

“This was about a 10min drive from our hotel and the unlimited mimosas made it appealing from the start but the food was AWESOME! Unlimited mimosas added another layer and we were pleased and lit by the time we left. When I tell you it’s worth every dime it truly is so please go. The service is good and they will check in considering it’s a 90minute unlimited mimosa thing BUT all good. Don’t feel rushed because they don’t push you out and again the ladies will make sure you’re good to go. Chelsea is the way to go! We had two rounds!“

“This is perhaps my favorite restaurant in all of NYC. It’s a cash only Japanese Soba spot that specializes in cold buckwheat noodle dishes and other Izakaya.
Favorite things on the menu are the Cold Bhuta Shabu with Sesame Sauce (Thinly Sliced Pork), or the Sukiyaki Soba (Thinly Sliced Beef). So refreshing and savory; the perfect summer dish. The Mera Mera Soba (Ground Chicken) is served hot and is great in the winter too. Their apps, salads, and pickled veg are also fantastic.
I will gatekeep this place until the end of time, with the hope that the wait never gets too long (they don’t take reservations, and can get crowded during peak dinner times).“
