Calm, cozy, and homey atmosphere. Very ✊? and I love that, as a black woman. Once I heard it was black-women owned, I was like oh yeaaa, this place has my stamp of approval. Food is seasoned, cornbread is doing its thing and all the food was amazing. Left with my belly full!

It is sinful for that cornbread to taste so good. The fish is always fried well, light and flaky. Some sides are better than others, but overall good. The cashier seemed a bit tudey as if we were disturbing, but not enougb of a deterrent to not return. Cornbread is still the place to go.

The food was delicious and we were served quick. The ambience was great and the staff were friendly. You have to check this place out. Took my mom and son here for Valentine’s.Dietary restrictions: They have fish for people who doesn’t eat red meat or poultry
