Visiting from New Orleans and a friend took us here. I didn’t expect much from a soul food restaurant, since I am a southern girl and good cook I am told, BUT I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! The JD turkey wings, Mac & Cheese, Cabbage and yams!! And don’t forget the potato salad. We LOVED EVERYTHING. The entire staff was friendly and professional. We will be back. It was five of us and we had the rib, chicken, turkey wings, …All cooked to perfection!
Go eat at Taste of Heaven, you will not be disappointed. I was picking up a rental van around the corner from TOH and I was told I had to wait an hour, so me and my buddy set out for some food while we waited. We stumbled upon TOH. I was hooked from the first bite. I had rice and peas with the jack Daniel’s ribs with the candied yams, Omg, incredibly delicious. I was Recommended to Taste of Heaven by my niece to cover a 90th birthday party I was to do. The other Cater was not able to accommodate us.. It was the best decision I made, for the party was a success but the food was exceptional a success. The guests raved about the food how good it was, They wanted to know where was located and we had taken a few of the menus so we gave them out.
