Great customer service.
Very good customer service. Everybody was friendly but the food wasn’t that good. Especially the smothered pork chops. I don’t know if I went at a bad time but the pork chops weren’t fresh.
As soon you walk in you're greeted and asked if it's your 1st time. All to be given a sampler of greens, yams, wing and Mac and cheese. The crunch and flavor on the wing was everything. I ordered the whiting dinner with yams and tuna macaroni. Peach cobble and Big Tea fresh brewed. Would return to try more.

Pitkin Avenue Soul & Seafood offers a varied menu and a welcoming atmosphere, with a modest takeout location that is wheelchair accessible. The service is polite and attentive, though sometimes a bit slow. The food is well-seasoned and fresh, with highlights such as the catfish, smothered pork chop dinners, and a complimentary sampler plate for first-time visitors featuring a sweet chili wing, yams, and mac and cheese. The decor includes portraits of father and son, creating a warm, family-like environment. Customers praise the hospitality, describing it as friendly and full of southern charm, with samples offered to new guests. The restaurant's sides like collard greens, yams, cabbage, and mac and cheese are well-prepared, though some find them slightly under-seasoned. Some customers have experienced issues with order accuracy and customer service, but overall, the place provides a comfortable dining experience with delicious food and inviting ambiance.
