“On a stop over in New York, we decided to go find a good bagel place. We are so happy we came upon the Traditional Bagel Café. Staff was friendly, the bagels were delicious, and the food was made to order very quickly. The reason you gave the atmosphere of four is because it was cold in there because their front is all windows and in the middle of the winter it’s hard to keep in insulated. Otherwise it’s an easy place to stop and shop! I would come back again.“

My boyfriend is the bagel eater, and I ordered 2 dozen for him. The flavors we got were Everything, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, and Blueberry. He is in love with their blueberry bagels. “Love that they make the bagels fresh every single morning. I’ve been a customer here for a couple years now and I’ve never been disappointed with my orders.The ladies who work there make my day with how happy they look to see me and chat with me. Cash only definitely makes it less convenient, but they’ve got an ATM right there and it’s worth the minor trouble. Anyone who says the food is pricey has no clue what they’re talking about - average sandwich is like 7-8 dollars. That’s far cheaper than what you’d get in NYC which is like 20 minutes away, especially for the quality. I’ve only sat to eat a couple times, but it’s about what you’d expect from a small bagel place. It’s not the best for a proper sit down meal, but it feels cozy in there and I’ve struck up conversations with other customers a few times. All in all, this place is a must try, you’ll get addicted to those bagels, they must have some secret formula.“

Bagel was grilled which was a nice change to a toaster. The place is clean and it near. Food Town. Plenty of parking. Will be back. Note they close at 2. Monday to Saturday. But they are planning on serving lunch open to 4“

“I’ve been coming here for many years. Love the fresh hot bagels when it comes right out of the oven. The menu option is vast, and definitely can’t get to taste every single item on it, (even though I it’s very tempting to try it all). Try it at least once, you will be coming back for more.“

“I have been a long time customer, since the early 80’s. For the first time I had lunch at the Hot Bar and met the new executive chef Chris Smith while I was serving myself. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and he was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Stews for continually hiring outstanding employees and welcome to Chris.“

The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. “It’s a little corner bagel shop and this was superb at many directions.
I had just a quick breakfast and mine was a bagel with CC and another one with butter.
One for later obviously but with a coffee add up only to $8.
Bagels were how old school type was crispy and chewy.
Just a regular cup of coffee tasted so good much better than trendy chais like Starbucks.
Totally satisfied with the food and drink and services by the guys.

“I love this place but please if you guys see this review, my wife and I love your bagels but my wife just got diagnosed with Celiac which means she can't have anything with gluten anymore, if you guys can come up with a gluten free bagel option so that she can have her nova sandwich that will be great! You might already have the option but we just don't know about it so please if you see this review reply and let us know. My wife and I love the Nova sandwiches with the pickles and potato salad on the side, I have told all my clients about you guys, everytime someone asks what's a good bagel place that I know I brag about you guys. I have sent more than 12 people to your place the last 4 months! I will keep doing so but please look into gluten free options if you don't already have them!! Thanks guys!

“Beyond good. The best bagels in and around NYC or amongst the top 5. Tight parking sometimes. However food and friendly hardworking staff make up for it. They’ve spread to many more locations in lower Westchester. Been coming to these shops for so many years I’ve lost count. Nothing compares.“

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. “Good bagel shop here. $9 for a BEC which is pretty standard. Friendly staff and a clean establishment. The bagels are very fluffy, it’s almost like eating a loaf of bread which is a bit too fluffy for me. Full menu of sandwiches and different spreads and meats available.“

At first, I thought this alarming amount of sodium was divided among all 6 in one packageBut, in rereading it I realized I had been mistaken! Why is it necessary to pose such a health risk to your consumers, who seem to have focused only on taste, is just incredulous! I hope you would reconsider production in a more healthy range in the near future so that I could purchase again, without having to dump them as I've had to do. “Excellent bagels made in store. This shop is very popular with locals. Lines at peak times. I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). My favourite is an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted and coffee.“

“My kitchen Flavor is an amazing little gem of a restaurant with amazing food! I recently moved and wanted to order take out for a small gathering. I ordered 7 portions of different plates. A couple of my friends do not eat meat and they were accommodated with fish dishes. The portions where plenty and Celia the owner accommodated us with Xtra salad, rice and beans. Thank you Celia Cruz for the service of cooking and delivering the food exactly as you promised. It was all very delicious. ( Her empanadas are amazing!) We will definitely be a repeat customer. Please support your neighborhood restaurants, it keeps the neighborhood thriving. Come eat here you won't be disappointed!“

“First time trying this spot out. Picked up a dozed bagels for a teenage sports team. Ordered plain and everything bagels with cream cheese. While I waited, there was a consistent line of what seemed to be regulars popping in to get their usual orders. The staff were efficient and courteous and got my order ready pretty quickly. I ordered a mini plain cream cheese bagel for myself to try out. I ended up eating the bagel on the way to the game. The cream cheese had partly melted on the bagel, which was toasty and delicious. I'm gonna go back and try a breakfast sandwich soon. This is a very small store, not tables to sit at, good choice of cream cheeses. They also had some good tea options that I could see on the back wall behind the counter.“
