The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. A nostalgic treat done right.

“Long Island Bagel Cafe went above and beyond with the catering order that I placed for my sister’s morning of wedding breakfast spread. I had been recommended this place from my cousin after having some difficulty finding a local Bronx shop that would cater to the different breakfast items I was looking for. Frank was able to get my friends and family everything we needed for our morning breakfast and it was such a seamless process. Thank you so much!“

“This is a cash only place, with an ATM in the shop. If you like chewy and dense (not airy) bagels, this is the place for you. Our favorite is their whole wheat everything bagels - they have a ton of everything seasoning which I love - with jalapeno cream cheese (fresh, yummy but expensive). They have only a couple of tables for dining in.“

“Great neighborhood deli with fair prices and good food. Dianet and Sandro nail the classic breakfast sandwiches, and their house-made lemonade and iced teas are excellent. It's a nice, locally owned shop that gets the job done right. The bathrooms are also always sanitary and clean, which speaks volumes about how the entire place is operated. 5-stars all around. 👌“

“The best bagels in Greenwich! Warm & soft out of the oven - you cannot get any better! Wait can be long so go early or order ahead for next day! Salt and everything are my favorite and they have fun schmears if you’re feeling like trying something new.“

“It’s a little corner bagel shop and this was superb at many directions.
I had just a quick breakfast and mine was a bagel with CC and another one with butter.
One for later obviously but with a coffee add up only to $8.
Bagels were how old school type was crispy and chewy.
Just a regular cup of coffee tasted so good much better than trendy chais like Starbucks.
Totally satisfied with the food and drink and services by the guys.

“On a stop over in New York, we decided to go find a good bagel place. We are so happy we came upon the Traditional Bagel Café. Staff was friendly, the bagels were delicious, and the food was made to order very quickly. The reason you gave the atmosphere of four is because it was cold in there because their front is all windows and in the middle of the winter it’s hard to keep in insulated. Otherwise it’s an easy place to stop and shop! I would come back again.“

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. Very disappointing.“

“I live in Austin, TX, and I love how I can have authentic New York bagels delivered to my front door. I am a new customer, and I love Just Bagels. I love their customer service, they answer their phone, and they answer my questions on Facebook. I will be using them again, and again. I love everything about them so far. My boyfriend is the bagel eater, and I ordered 2 dozen for him. The flavors we got were Everything, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, and Blueberry. He is in love with their blueberry bagels. “The bagels are excellent, they're not trying to be anything other than a bagel shop that makes damn good bagels. If you want something fancy or where they greet you with a big fake smile and "heeeelllloooo" go to starbucks. I've been going here for as long as i can remember, local, love it, you don't like it get outta here.“

“First time trying this spot out. Picked up a dozed bagels for a teenage sports team. Ordered plain and everything bagels with cream cheese. While I waited, there was a consistent line of what seemed to be regulars popping in to get their usual orders. The staff were efficient and courteous and got my order ready pretty quickly. I ordered a mini plain cream cheese bagel for myself to try out. I ended up eating the bagel on the way to the game. The cream cheese had partly melted on the bagel, which was toasty and delicious. I'm gonna go back and try a breakfast sandwich soon. This is a very small store, not tables to sit at, good choice of cream cheeses. They also had some good tea options that I could see on the back wall behind the counter.“

“Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they've taken them out of the oven, I don't even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they're busy but that's a good sign. There are regulars who come every morning and read newspapers while having their bagels. It's a neighborly place with excellent bagels.“

I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning).
