Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they've taken them out of the oven, I don't even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they're busy but that's a good sign. I think these folks make as close to a proper bagel as you can get. Definitely way better than the place in Thornwood. Exterior is near perfect and they they everything (blizzard) bagels are great as are the rye. Staff is always nice.

Everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and a small tea was $6.85. Bagel and cream cheese were very good.. Can't figure out how they got to $6.85 since the bagel was a $1.50 and the tea was $2.25
