I will say it wasn't what I was completely expecting so just know before you go that if you want butter or cream cheese or any of those add on's you have to buy their tiny tubs of them so I opted to only get one. They are incredibly fresh, you just go to the side window and they give them to you fresh out of the oven. The bagels were great!“

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). “My kitchen Flavor is an amazing little gem of a restaurant with amazing food! I recently moved and wanted to order take out for a small gathering. I ordered 7 portions of different plates. A couple of my friends do not eat meat and they were accommodated with fish dishes. The portions where plenty and Celia the owner accommodated us with Xtra salad, rice and beans. I love their customer service, they answer their phone, and they answer my questions on Facebook. I will be using them again, and again. I love everything about them so far. “This has became my favorite bagel spot. Love the guys and the food. The bagels are great and all of their baked goods. Plus, the coffee is great so it’s definitely nice to have a place that has both great tasting things. The workers are very friendly and make your morning.“

“Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they've taken them out of the oven, I don't even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they're busy but that's a good sign. There are regulars who come every morning and read newspapers while having their bagels. It's a neighborly place with excellent bagels.“
