“I was reading the reviews and I see there was some reviews that are not so good. Let me tell you it is a small shop. It’s not fancy, but they’re the best bagels around and they’re not the most expensive either. The ladies work very hard. you don’t know that they have to fulfill some very big orders in the morning which take a lot of work. It’s very hot in there from the oven so some days they’re just drained. They don’t have the energy almost to smile, but believe me, there’s such sweet ladies. Sometimes you have to give people a benefit of the doubt. It’s not an easy job believe me and now they take credit and cash and I go early in the morning and I have the hottest best bagels and the spreads and other things are very good. yes it might seem expensive but you’re paying for the service and the convenience. Believe me if I ever moved from Scarsdale I would miss this place. Probably the most of everything. And Manny, the son is a sweetheart!“

“I really liked PopUp Bagels! I will say it wasn't what I was completely expecting so just know before you go that if you want butter or cream cheese or any of those add on's you have to buy their tiny tubs of them so I opted to only get one. They are incredibly fresh, you just go to the side window and they give them to you fresh out of the oven. The bagels were great!“

“This neighborhood deli is packed with character and options. I ordered a classic lox and scallion cream cheese—fresh, briny, and generously portioned. The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. A nostalgic treat done right.

“I visited this place while driving through Pelham and it’s such a nice local spot for a quick dinner / deli bite or bagel. The owner is so hospitable and you can tell he cares for his customers. A lot of regulars were coming in and out so you can tell the food has to be worth coming back for. I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). My favourite is an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted and coffee.“
