“I was reading the reviews and I see there was some reviews that are not so good. Let me tell you it is a small shop. It’s not fancy, but they’re the best bagels around and they’re not the most expensive either. The ladies work very hard. you don’t know that they have to fulfill some very big orders in the morning which take a lot of work. It’s very hot in there from the oven so some days they’re just drained. They don’t have the energy almost to smile, but believe me, there’s such sweet ladies. Sometimes you have to give people a benefit of the doubt. It’s not an easy job believe me and now they take credit and cash and I go early in the morning and I have the hottest best bagels and the spreads and other things are very good. yes it might seem expensive but you’re paying for the service and the convenience. Believe me if I ever moved from Scarsdale I would miss this place. Probably the most of everything. And Manny, the son is a sweetheart!“

This past weekend we ordered their most popular Shabbat package (package #2) to enjoy at our own table. It was off the charts. It was still warm when I picked it up Friday afternoon. “The best kosher asian spot, the entrees aren't as heavy as other Chinese food places & taste incredibly fresh and flavorful. We loved everything we tried, highly recommend ordering the miso soup, Angela roll, chicken w/ mixed vegetables, beef w/ broccoli, general tso's chicken & fried rice.“

The food is always great. Their brisket is always tender, the sweet potato fries are spot on. Never had a bad dish so I highly recommend Carlos and Gabby’s whether you’re just visiting the area or are a local!“

“The food was good. My wife found a one i,cu chicken bone with a sharp point. This bone was sure to get stuck in someone's throat and prove lethal. My daughter then found another huge chicken bone and nearly chocked. I would suggest to be very careful when eating anything chicken. On the other hand, avoid ordering anything chicken and be safe.“
