“Had the falafel sandwich like many times as a vegan, but this was soooo good. Crispy outside, soft moist inside. Your choice of “salads”/pickled veggies to add into it. I had baba ghanoush, Julienne pickled carrots , and a cubed roasted eggplant, onion, and tomato. So flavorful without being overpowering w any one ingredient. Eddy makes everything homemade by hand. Everything! The falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, the pickles, the pita. Pita so good. Large thick and soft. My friends had a beef kabob sandwich and chicken plate. They said it was delicious. “I've never written a review before but after ordering from Knish Nosh, I had to. I've never in my life tasted such amazing food like this and to be honest I'm very critical and hard to please when it comes to food so like always I was waiting to either be let down or not that impressed but I was shocked I live in the City and I order from these guys 2 sometimes 3 times a week. I'm trying to get in touch with the owner, I'm willing to invest in Knish Nosh opening in the City! Simone E“

“I must say this place really impressed!
Maybe one of the cleanest looking restaurants I have ever scene.
Very nice ambiance.
Food was yum, we got truffle fries, penne aka vodka, the cauliflower, and mozzarella sticks, and pizza.
Got a salad that was ehh but they took it back no problem, really good service.
Bathroom was also very nice, fresh smelling…..

Shoutout to Juan who ran after us to give us our pizza in the freezing cold 📣📣“

“This is not a place you come to for atmosphere. This is a place for delicious falafel and other Middle Eastern foods, like shakshuka, kibbeh, etc., all vegetarian, since it's kosher dairy. The food is authentic Israeli-style. The staff is friendly, too. I don't wear a yarmulke, my wife doesn't cover her arms, and they serve us, and everyone I've seen walk through the doors with a smile. Good food and civility are universal. Give this little shop a try!“

“Clean. Fresh. Good. You walk in and you are greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable manager. He knows the menu backwards and forwards and has great suggestions. They have a great setup for all the ingredients and the food is prepared quickly and expertly. Love the seating area. Good for 1-4 people. More would be challenging. Good prices, as well.“

“Delicious all vegan- plant based Menu with super fair prices and indoor seating. I just ordered a burger with fries and a drink and it was 22$- the portions are great and it was delicious. I got my food very quickly and there is plenty of seating inside. I’ll def be back!“

“We arrived on a flight to JFK and wanted dinner. This is perfectly on the way from or to the airport. We ordered food via our mobile device on the way. It was ready as we arrived. The food was absolutely scrumptious, delicious beyond what we even thought it would be, everything was perfect. “The tastes are magical. The decor is lively and graceful. I feel like I am in Paris. We had the KREPLACH, the salmon bacon on a BLT, the MARYUMA, which is a more exotic type of shakshuka, the scramble eggs in a blintz, the chocolate babka. When I asked for tea, he offered me Paris by Harney & Sons: exquisite. While we were here, a delivery person brought a box of frozen fish. He had walked in the rain to deliver it. The owner made him sit down and gave him a cappuccino. What a MENSCH! Everything is perfect about this place, but the flavors are transcendent.“

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. Also, love the large seating area in the back. Great spot!“

The tomato-based beef soup was flavorful and comforting, the lula kebab was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the lamb shank over potatoes was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and a great overall experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu.“

I used the liquid you gave to make it even more moist and have already made blintzes and salad and turkey fried rice with the rest.“

We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. “My family and I absolutely adore and exault Traditions. We've gone there so frequently and for so long that we've come to know the owner and even the service staff.

I have NEVER had such good kosher food for such incredible value price-wise. $10-$25 a plate, and you absolutely will be full and satisfied, and will come back.

Edit: After returning in 2026, it appears that they have raised the prices - which IMO is not unjustified. While I can say that the food is great value for money (weighing quality and portion size), that value is only a little bit better than other places of this style - whereas before it was simply unmatched. Same great food and same GREAT service - just now a bit more expensive than before. Still 5 stars.“

Currently there are 8 customers including me waiting and there’s only this one poor employee ( another customer just walked in ) working everything. AND she also has online orders to fulfill. “I went in and had the greatest sourdough pizza ever and give them a five star rating as besides being delicious it was lighter . My recommendation is to take it easy on the cheese as those wanting sourdough are doing it for health and weight reasons and don’t need all of that fat on top“

“Colbeh catered my daughter’s wedding. Fanya really led the show. She and her staff were professional, accommodating, and went above and beyond. I have never received so many compliments on the food as I did after the wedding. Guests told me it was the best shmorg they had ever been to. They excelled at every cuisine and there was an abundance of everything. After the wedding, Colbeh packed up all of the leftovers to send home with us.“

“A friend of mine and I had a lovely experience at Laffa Bar and Grill. The outside tent was spacious, the food is plentiful and delicious! I also like the changes they made indoors. It has a very nice ambiance. The Owners are warm and welcoming as well as each of the staff. Service with a smile..how refreshing! “I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough.
