The food here will look like nothing special or exceptional until you EAT IT then you will know....it is delicious!! i havent bern here in a while but i never forgot...Fried chicken, cauliflower, chopped liver, shliskys...You cant go wrong.
The line are always around. the corner. The food is delicious. Best way is to call ahead and order. I did that for years.They didn't use to take credit cards but I believe now maybe they do. When it's not busy you can sit down at the one table in the back. Everything is always fresh!Also they are just nice people. Tiny, take out kosher Jewish food spot. They used to have 1-2 small tables to eat your awesome sandwich & kugel at. The health dept said they are not licensed for eat-in, tho, so they sadly had to remove it. Great brisket sandwiches & great sides.
