“We had the most amazing time at Cafe Premiata! The service is impeccable - such friendly and fun staff. Come here for any celebration, their dessert platters are gorgeous and delicious. We will definitely be coming back here. Thank you Cafe Premiata!“
“Since moving to the area, Nana's is one place that is consistently fantastic and everyone I bring here raves about it. Simple, yes, but freshly made, flavorful, and healthy isn't always easy to find when you're trying to grab a quick bite.I think the way the menu is laid out is a bit confusing if you've never been. Once you understand how to navigate that, it's smooth sailing. My regular order is the Mu'shwarma, pita or platter depending on how I feel that day. I am pescatarian and love that they don't use artificial fake meat, but this dish is just really well flavored mushrooms. Their platters are great because you can choose so many sides, and they REALLY stuff their pitas, so I think either one works, depending on what mood I'm in. If you get the platter, you can choose pita or pita chips on the side. Their pita chips are fresh and the best I've ever tasted. I'm not usually a drink gal, but I love their Limonana so I do order it quite frequently. Very refreshing and made with all fresh ingredients. Not overly sugary or anything. I've tried a bunch of their salads/salatim and they are all amazing, but the Babaganoush is a MUST. I'm not always a fan of the dish because of the texture but theirs is the best I've ever had. So flavorful and fantastic. Any of the spicy salads (spicy tomato) are actually quite spicy, so be aware. There isn't so much of an ambiance here as there's 1-2 tight tables and it's definitely more of a to go place, although I have dined in and eaten outside when weather permits. There is no table service. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but I can often stretch one of their meals to 2 and the ingredients are so fresh and so delicious, so it is worth the price. Don't expect any $7 street cart pitas here though! I've taken my parents and several friends and everyone that has been has only raved about how fresh and delicious it is, so it's a must go to and a neighborhood staple for me.“
“Vegetarian options: They definitely had them!Kid-friendliness: We were able to bring my six week old niece. The restaurant was quiet and calm, the baby slept straight through our family’s meal and we didn’t feel weird about having the kid at all“
“I ordered food for an event at my house for 50 people. I was helped by Roman and he was a pleasure to work with. He gave me suggestions on what to choose and how much I would need. We went with hot pass around appetizers, wrap/sandwich platters, salads, fruit and cookies. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be ordering again!“
“Got a pastrami and a corned beef sandwich. Wow. Very tender and very flavorful. The mustard was also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back for more. Absolute must try if you like Jewish deli sandwiches. The family that runs this place is also very nice.“
“I've lived in NYC for over ten years and this is the best tasting pizza I've found so far. The pizza man there, Ciro makes delicious pizza every time, and, speaking from personal experience, he makes it the way it should be made. Handsome guy too. I recommend you go visit.“
“Colbeh Restaurant exceeded all expectations when I hosted a party there recently. From the moment I booked the event, their staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The setup was nothing short of stunning, with beautifully arranged tables and impeccable attention to detail.Hosting my party at Colbeh was a fantastic experience, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Whether you're planning a small gathering or a large event, you can trust Colbeh to deliver exceptional service, stunning ambiance, and the freshest, most delicious food.“
“This was one of the most delicious experiences I’ve had. I’m vegetarian and the appetizers were flavorful, and each unique in taste. The main dish I had (cauliflower shawarma on frena bread) was also flavorful and filling. Ah, and the hummus was unbelievable. The young lady that served us was super hospitable and knowledgeable about the dishes, and recommended some great options. Can’t wait to go back there again.“
“Great experience! The food and ambiance was amazing! The moment we got there, we were immediately taken care of. The food was decadent and full of flavor! The waiters tended to our every need and even gave us plenty of dishes on the house. Love the fact that they play music and play the drums live. It’s an excellent venue where you feel like you’re one family singing and dancing along to the songs. Would definitely come back here again and highly recommend this place!“
“I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was exceptional. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality offered. While the food was a bit inconsistent, with some dishes shining while others fell short, overall, it was a very good experience. I would definitely “
“Nice simple place to gether with family and friends. I tried dozens of our russian diners in Queens, this particular place is #1 for Lagman, Lagman is extremely good, made with hand-made noodles and very delicious, decent portions. I tried lamb samosa their samosa looks beautiful but has little more onions than meat inside, Pilov was made well very delicious.real Uzbek pilov cooked on open wood fire, here pilov tastes better than most other places. They have better cooks. Good looking plates and silverware, perfect service, 5 stars overall ✨“
“I've been going to Elite Pizza for years, and I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. The pizza is my favorite, but I've also had the pasta, sushi, and sandwiches, and they've all been delicious. The crust is always thin and crispy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. The service at Elite Pizza is also excellent. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere at the restaurant is casual and relaxed, so it's a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family.Overall, I highly recommend Elite Pizza to anyone looking for delicious kosher pizza.“
“We had lunch with friends total 4 people, salmon, chicken wings and lamb kebab were all delicious, bread and hummus were tasty too.Service and environment were great! This is our second time to come here, definitely will come back again!!“
“The best samsa in all of nyc. The portions are more than generous for the price and the taste is amazing. The meat filling was bursting with flavor and was absolutely juicy and spot on with the spices. The store also has pastries and different kinds of tandoori bread. I will definitely be returning for more!!! Yum!“
“The place was nice and clean when we walked in the staff were super nice and helpful when ordering as well they pointed out their specialty items etcThe cheese ( which is soy by the way due to it being a kosher restaurant) wasn’t al the rage we expected however the burger over all was great fast food style burgerThe oat milk milkshake was much better then you would expect and I would definitely recommend it“
“Great food especially the laffa's but beware they include a mandatory 18% tip in the bill and then give you a additional receipt asking if you want to give a tip for 18%, 32% ect.. not mentioning that they already included 18% on the bill!“
“I went here for Hanukkah to get some fresh made latkes and was very pleasantly surprised by the size and how delicious they were. I tried both the traditional potato and the falafel latkes, along with a tray of assorted bourekas. Everyone loved all of the delicious goodies from Geffen!“
“This food is amazing. I don't have a picture because I eat it too quickly. I had a lamb kebob pita with the four salad options. You are tasting like 6 delicious flavors all at the same time. The portions are generous, service is friendly (been here a couple times).“
“Nice community grocery store. I can’t go there without running into a friend. Great place and vibes. It is often pricey but everything is high quality and you can’t get the small neighborhood grocery store feel anywhere else. There is about 5 isles and they have produce, baked good, Jew supplies, snack desert, and fresh sushi. If need last minute shobbas food i and d is the place.“
“A hidden gem. The prices are amazing, just like the food. Everything is fresh and delicious, but did not take long for the waiter to bring to us. All ingredients were top quality. The shashlik was tender. Everything was flavorful and seasoned to perfection. They have their namesake, the Chebureki, perfected. The waitresses are very kind and sweet. They speak Russian, English, Bukharian etc. An authentic Central Asian experience atmosphere. They have a bathroom in the back. It's pretty big with spacious seating.“
“Great food . Pizza is a must try , thin crust in brick oven . Salmon is fresh and cooked juicy to perfection. Try roasted beets salad . Combination of beets and pear is marvelousDietary restrictions: KosherWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access“
“This place is one of kind. My dad, who passed away, 3 years ago studied for his actuarial exams here in the 80s. My family and myself frequently come here for pizza and Israeli food. This place brings back so many fun memories of my childhood. My son loves the pizza here. The falafel tastes great, coating is nice light and flaky, like many other falafel, I’ve eaten. Prices remained reasonable throughout all of these years. Planning on coming here as long as this place is opened.“
“Pizza Professor is my preferred spot for quick delivery and top-notch kosher pizzas. Their menu boasts a wide range of options, including the irresistible dessert pizza with chocolate and fruity pebbles. And let's not forget their deliciously crafted pineapple pizza, always made to perfection. With their speedy service and delectable offerings, Pizza Professor is the go-to choice for satisfying kosher pizza cravings!“
“I celebrated my graduation today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a phenomenal evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for this outstanding evening. The crew cooperated in a very nice manner, the food was appetizing and my friends were very cheerful. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.“
“Great staff. It’s very interactive because there’s a white board anyone can right on and the tables have games like tic tac toe and connect four. It is really nice and I recommend going with friends. Also look out for deals. Never got something there and didnt like it. Everything there is a hit.Dietary restrictions: Offer nut free and dairy free and vegan options.Parking: It’s in a shopping center so tons of parking with many people going out and in.Kid-friendliness: Have lots of food portion sizes and games!“
“My friend and I visited the restaurant on Saturday night and were pleased to find ample street parking. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. We were most impressed by the soup - it was delicious! The rest of the menu was also good, although the portions were a bit small for the price. The tea and the dessert were both delicious! The tea came in a small, adorable kettle with two cups, enough for two people, and it was only $4 !I enjoyed my dessert, Lavsh, which was something I had never heard of before, but it was really good. The only downside was the inclusion of a 20% service fee already added to the bill - this type of business should not charge a 20% fee. A more reasonable 12% service fee should be included, and customers can add extra if they feel it is deserved.Overall, the restaurant was a great place with a good location. The food was affordable and tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, a more reasonable service fee should be included on the bill, as customers should be given the choice to reward the staff more if they feel it is deserved.“
“This was one of the top 2 dinners we had both in the City and in the Hamptons this week and was also the least expensive. We couldn’t believe they have Chilean Sea Bass kabobs, and they are only $13 or $20 for a meal. Excellent. Also the dumpling chicken broth dill soup, baklava, hummus, pickles, fries, hot tea- literally everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. As other reviewers have written, this is a hole in the wall find, and I would come all the way to Queens to eat here again! Very near JFK. Service was fairly quick, clientele mostly large families, takes credit cards. Wonderful Israeli/middle eastern cuisine in a very casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices!“
“The service was very good and the food was excellent. We were seated right away and the server brought over water and took our order. All of the dishes we tried were hot and came out quickly. The steamed dumplings had a good amount of filling and were nicely seasoned. The house special noodle soup had chicken, beef, and veal(?) and the noodles still had nice texture, the broth was flavorful. We ate Crispy Beef, Chicken and Tofu and Moo Shu Veal. We had white rice and brown rice. Everything was excellent.“
“Great addition to a constellation of small groceries, cafes and restaurants on 108st in Forest Hills. Great bagels, pastries and coffee. Food is always fresh. Arthur, the owner, is a great humble guy, very professional.Lots of seating. Good prices.“
“Wow was I surprised by this place. Went with a girlfriend for lunch and had a great time. We got the Shurpa soup, it only had one piece of meat in it so even though it's cooked with beef & lamb, you don't get both. The fresh herbs in it were delicious! We also got the fresh homemade salad and Korean carrot salads which were both good and grew on you as you eat them, so they just get better during the meal. The steamed dumplings were good and the kabobs were so good! We eat got 3! We stayed for probably close to 2.5 hours and the restaurant didn't mind. It's a great place to meet up with an old friend and catch up on life!“
“Not only is the pizza and falafel here amazing, the owner is an absolutely kind and incredible person. he is always offering people to try items at his own expense, have a slice while they wait for their larger order to come out, or recommend options for those with allergies or sensitivities so that they don't feel left out at a pizza shop. A really amazing place ran by a class act!“
“Great customer service. The girl at the counter was very patient with us since we just arrived to New York and the brain was foggy. Get the crazy kafta tortilla with everything on it. It is DELICIOUS!!!! I would come back and get another and add a fried egg in it.“
“Great Sushi and Food. Quick service. My gotoo is definitely the poke bowl because you can’t go wrong with that. They have a great playlist playing. Dining in can be cramped and hard to get a table but it’s nice. Food is good for both take out and dine in. Reasonable prices. Overall great food and great place which I highly recommend.“
“Went the other evening with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. Great assortment of food, superb service by the staff, and a nice ambiance. The meats tasted great and the side dishes complemented them well. Also can’t say enough about how good that pineapple was - worth going here just for that.A lot of these types of establishments will try to cheap out on how much they serve but we were treated to a true all you can eat experience. At a certain point we needed to ask the waiters to stop because we were all too full.In short we had a fantastic time and we definitely plan on going back.“
“Best israeli restaurant in NYC, this place is a hidden gem.My wife and I love hummus, and it was as good as the one we had in Israel. Also, the owners are very kind, they actually watched over my kid while I took the other one the bathroom ?Go!!!“
“For more than a decade, I've been a loyal patron of Grill Point, and their signature Shawarma sandwich continues to impress with its consistent deliciousness over time. The fact that everyone I introduce to this gem enjoys it speaks volumes about the consistent quality of their food. I wholeheartedly endorse Grill Point to anyone seeking the finest Shawarma around.“
“We have loved this place for a long time because of its cozy atmosphere and amazing menu. However, since it came under the new management (same great owners), the place became absolutely superb. The food is prepared to perfection. Everything is tasty and delicious. The ambience created by the recent renovations is even more welcoming than it used to be. The owners, managers and staff are very honest, considerate and accommodating. Last, but not least, their prices are very competitive and affordable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We recently hosted a family event for approximately 40 people there, and everybody was extremely satisfied. It’s a perfect place for a date night or a big family gathering.“
“The service was great. The food was cooked to perfection, and the ambiance was great as well. I definitely recommend coming here. This place is loud but I really enjoyed the music so I did not mind it. However, if you aren't a fan of the loud music, you should come for lunch it is definitely worth trying.“
“Their food is already pretty delicious, but once you put the sauces... Their sauces are absolutely insane. Also the brisket fries are top tier. On behalf of the Great Neck community, I give this place a solid 5/5. We love you ❤️P.S. I don't know if it was the owner that was serving us, but this guy at the counter gave me all the extras I asked for WITHOUT hesitation.“
“This place is great...we had various breakfast items on a Sunday morning and everyone loved it. We saw other items coming out like paninis that also looked great.Suprisingly affordable! Parking can be a challenge...think"around the block" .also the block itself looks a little old and run down but the restaurant looks great and the bathroom was spotless which is nice.“
“Great food and generous portions. Quick service and delivery.Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetable dishes. Vegetable egg rolls, sesame Tofu, mein fun, chow fun, lo mein, chow mein, Tofu soup, scallion pancakes, fried rice, and others.Dietary restrictions: KosherParking: Spots become available with meter, within a block there are spots that are fee and there is a lot in the back.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu including Chinese hotdogsWheelchair accessibility: No steps“
“When I tried the pastrami sandwich on rye with mustard this past Friday, I was amazed at how good the sandwich tasted. And the fries were good too. [Tuesday October 18, 2022 update]: I tried their great Paulie Special sandwich, the texture of the brisket meat, thinly sliced and served with the sharpness of the horseradish, and the tenderness and richness of the meat and au jus itself, with the nice club bread, all great. I tried their potato salad with it. Good stuff. And the Dr. Brown cream soda to accompany it.“
“On last week we performed our MEGA ROBOT on stilts in the Simcha Kosher Restaurant. The staff were very kind, professional and assisted us with our requests. We recommend for those in the area to visit this awesome place.Alex & AlenaLaserShow-USA.com“
“Priced competitively but the burger size is generous, the seasoned fries are delicious and everything is cooked upon ordering. I've been eating here on-&-off for over a decade. The gentleman who works at the counter (& has been there since I first discovered this restaurant) is so friendly & efficient. I usually order seasoned fries & a turkey burger with toppings and sauces chosen from the toppings bar.“
“Fergana Restaurant had very difficult times during the Pandemic times and after. New Fergana its now under new management which is most of things have been changed and added a lot new taste of Kosher Central Asians cosine's along Russian, Ukrainians and other part of worlds cuisines. Definitely worth of try a shoot in new Fergana. WE ARE ALWAYS WELOCOME TO GUESTS ❤️❤️❤️“
“Finally! A good quality Kosher dairy restaurant in greatneck! Although it’s called Dagim they have way more non fish options than you’d think a restaurant specializing in delicious sushi and fish would have. Everything was amazing. I never had fish that fresh in my life. Service was good the ambiance made you feel like you were dining somewhere in Manhattan. Definitely will be coming back to Dagim!!!Vegetarian options: They had great pastas to choose from, the appetizers and salads were greatKid-friendliness: I had to bring my baby, although we were a small group, they made sure to give us a table big enough where a stroller would fit and we would still be able to dine comfortably“
