“I had the privilege of having Eastern Kitchen cater my wedding back in June of 2023. The food was absolutely AMAZING. Numerous guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had and I would agree. It is top-notch Korean food. The menu variety and quality were both phenomenal. James did an amazing job catering our wedding. Thanks from Daniel and Nicole”
“This is a great little breakfast and lunch place that does mostly takeout but has a few tables to sit and eat. Within walking distance of several car dealerships so my dealer recommended that I go have breakfast there while my car was being serviced. Such a great and welcoming staff! I had a delicious omelet platter and was impressed that they offer a great selection of teas. Enjoy!”
“There's an axiom that you get what you pay for. It isn't always true. But in Grissini's it is. It is pricey but service is impeccable. Very attentive without being overbearing. Salads are perfectly dressed, seasoned and fresh. My special of morels with fettuccine in a veal stock with a touch of vermouth was out of this world. My wife's vegan and her vegetables in garlic and olive oil were perfect. And entrees, as always, were served hot. Eating here is a true dining experience.”
“Always good service here. Maybe because I come all the time. They have business lunch menu which is only $20 bucks. You get choice of ny strip or fish. Dinner is great. The steak is dry aged and thick. Great flavor and tender. Can't go wrong with this place.”
“Incredible food. Love the rigatoni, fresh parmesan, avocado salad. They also had a tasty sea bass filet special.Highly recommend for the food, atmosphere, and service.”
“I came here for an event recently and their food was phenomenal. The menu is amazing and has so much to choose from. I would highly recommend the pork jowl toppoki. It was delicious. I wish I lived closer to this place. If I did, I would be ordering from here all the time.”
“Dropped by on a Monday for lunch. Place is not short on choices. A deli and sushi place, what can go wrong. I walked out with two poke bowls, chips, chocolates and stuff. Poke bowls were perfect, a delicious lunch that hit the spot being fresh and healthy to balance the kettle chips. Lol.”
“My father and I were on a dog rescue search and the owner came out to greet us using his parking lot. Very nice gentleman generously made us a Margarita pie to split and it was exceptional.”
“Excellent! Advise early arrival as it fills up. I enjoyed a great lunch. All you can eat without wasting food! You choose your meats and vegetables, then cook at your table. Thus, everything is "cooked to order"!”
“Had a great lunch at Lefkes today. This is one of our favorite spots for taking clients out as the service is always top notch and they have a great lunch pre-fixe special that I think is one of the best deals in the area. Will keep coming back!”
“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.”
“Curried goat patties, Snow Crab entree, best hummus dish ever and inventive strawberry short cake riff. Chill music vibe. Knowledgeable and attentive and most importantly genuinely friendly staff. Love this place.”
“Fantastic meal and fantastic overall experience sitting at the chefs counter. Highly recommend the Wagyu and uni supplements as well as the abalone extra course. For some reason they gave us our check well before we finished eating our final course. There wasn't another party waiting for our seats so it was a bit strange to be rushed”
“It was a great show. I can’t imagine this as a great food but every thing is better with unlimited saki and amazing companies. My wife and I had a great time. It wasn’t hard to find just under staircase and you felt transported out of New York. The food is amazing. They put up a great show and quality is reasonable. I enjoy the food but you can really drunk with the saki.Amazing restaurant and definitely a visit if you are in town. Experience depends on the host.”
“Extensively thought out menu, every bite felt like a perfect harmony of complex but well balanced flavours. The pairings are absolutely worth it and elevate every dish, we would highly recommend.Servers were extremely attentive. We ate in about 1h30 because we had a show (a bit faster than the recommended 2 hour window), however we didn’t feel rushed and everything was perfectly timed.Excellent ambiance, we loved being able to see the chefs work in front of us. Everything looked like a perfectly choreographed dance.Would highly recommend, a well deserved star indeed !”
“I really like this restaurant! The food is high quality and the experience is fine dining but fun/relaxed.The menu is composed of bits of familiar recipes with Korean twists and French culinary techniques. There’s galbi, squid ink fried rice, uni, and mäd toast (which sounded monstrous but I didn’t get to try it this time) plus much more. I liked that the menu is small-sized and minimalist with clearly labeled snacks, little colds, hots, mains, extras, and desserts (menu is posted outside the entrance and on website). The current menu that started in mid-March has snacks/appetizers such as spicy yellowtail tart, beef tartare, fried shiitake mushroom rice balls (I think?, it’s labeled as mushroom arancini on the menu), pork head katsu, and scallion buns with unique sauces on the side ($20 per person, either no one or everyone orders). I tried the mushroom tempura with onion dip too! Everything was elegantly and adorably plated. Our server explained what’s what and suggested how to best enjoy some dishes. They have a really extensive drinks menu (many pages), complete with your usual offerings and their own unique cocktails, rice alcohol, maekgeolli, and even alcohol free cocktails woohoo! Not sure if all of the ice cubes for the alcoholic drinks are engraved with the restaurant’s name and logo but ours were and I thought that was a really cool and personal touch. An equally important part of my dining experience was the atmosphere and service. The staff are attentive, frequently filling glasses low on water and folding napkins when you step away. They also keep the music bopping and adjust their playlists. The lighting is a little dim and the interior is ‘cool club’ vibes but for a slightly more sophisticated audience. It’s a place to come in casual or dressed up a little for fun. It’s best for smaller groups of 1-4 I think based on seating arrangements but they seem to be able to accommodate slightly larger groups at some bigger tables and in the back room. Expect to pay $50-$100 if you get one item from each category on the menu and a drink. Probably $100+ if you get more or multiple drinks. The bar area in the back is across from the kitchen, which might be cool to peek at to see some staff members curating orders.I like that it’s on a quieter block in ktown area. The price range and location filters out loud and teen crowds, so it feels like a great place for young adults and Millenials to catch up or go on a date. It’s a place to sit down and chat while you savor small bites and wait on more food to arrive, so you’ll probably need like 1.5-2 hours if you’re going for a natural relaxed pace. I also saw a family of 5 enjoying dinner together here. Lastly, this is random but the hand soap is heavenly. I can’t wait to see what other menus they craft!!Dietary restrictions: They will ask about dietary restrictions and can modify recipes. If you don’t eat certain ingredients/foods, they can omit snacks too and adjust the price for you accordingly.”
“We decided to try LumLum for the first time instead of going to our usual Thai spot, Wondee Siam. We were not disappointed! The food was spicy, salty and sweet, and the prawns were juicy. We’ll definitely eat here again.”
“We dropped in for an early dinner to try this restaurant close to home. The flavors were amazing. We had catfish bites and pear salad as starters and fried chicken and gumbo as the entrees. Everything was perfectly prepared. We met the owner who was very welcoming. The space is not very big so reservations are recommended if you plan to dine in.”
“I will be coming back here every time I’m in the area for the galleries. Such attention to detail with every aspect of the dining experience from the decor, to the unique and traditional dishes, the quality of the food, great service… it’s all there.”
“Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.”
“Was here for a friends baby shower and it was lovely. They went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The event room is in the basement so no natural light. Looking forward to going again and dining upstairs.”
“Genuine spicy Southern Thai food - they don't tone it down for westerners. Some dishes have an American/fusion twist like steak krapao but they were still really good. The sator (stink bean) with prawn was good and authentic! Service was friendly and although most of the reviews are 5* because they offer you a discount for leaving one, mine is genuine and I'm writing it after my visit...”
“I hated Lima beans, until I ate them at Contento. In fact, everything I ate there was perfection. My husband and I sat at the bar, which is exactly where I’d sit again. It’s cozy, comfortable and you can see some of the kitchen action as well as chat with fellow diners. The chef came out and helped us pick out a great bottle of wine. I use a wheelchair, which is what first attracted me to going to Contento. I appreciate feeling included. But I have recommended the place to friends and the next time I’m in New York I look forward to going back.”
“It's busy, it's Times Square, but worth the wait though.LCHF/Keto eaters should order quesa tacos. Not on the menu but they will readily grill a slice of cheese on both sides and fit it with the usual ingredients to make a taco in a cheese tortilla. Reasonably priced.Fantastic experience. I will be going back often.”
“The service was incredible, the atmosphere and details were beautiful. The food was mostly delicious. The only con was they have very strong perfume scented candles that leave the taste of them so you can’t fully enjoy the food as the scent is so overpowering.”
“The whole experience was phenomenal - starting from very warm welcome, ambience, service and especially the food. The tasting menu options were all encompassing with their best dishes and we really loved all of them. The desert experience was out of the world! Lastly we would like to note a special mention for Javier (captain for our section) - he made sure we had the best experience on a special day including a kitchen tour! Overall totally loved the Michelin 2 experience at Daniel’s and we would highly recommend it.”
“Los Tacos 1 is a must-visit spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food in a bustling atmosphere. The pace is fast, but the food is the best ever! Their salsa is incredible—so tasty and spicy. Plus, the vibe in Chelsea Market adds to the whole experience. If you're in the mood for some mouthwatering tacos and a lively atmosphere, Los Tacos is the place to be!”
“The menu is the most delicious and authentic of Thai menus out there. I mean the sausages are all HOMEMADE! The best food by the best chef, Chuck. He is already a famous private chef and now you will be spoiled any day of the week! Just go and see for yourself or get delivery!”
“Great alternative in the K-Town area. Had the Garlic Chicken, which included rice, miso soup, tofy, kimchi and a small salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. 19 USD was a really good price. The food took 25-30 minutes, too long for lunch, but the staff was otherwise efficient and friendly.”
“If I have to choose one Korean sushi/sashimi restaurant in NJ, then Bada Story Englewood Cliffs is the one. The staff are extremely well trained. The back of house staff knows a thing or two about culinary excellence. And the owner/executive chef has put together an awesome items in the menu.Bada Story’s dinner feast boasts the most extensive assortment of appetizing sashimi in the tristate area. No, it does not come cheap. But the quality of fish they bring out totally justifies the pricing. Even the side dishes (aka tskedashi) is consisted of noteworthy seafood items. Dessert - the seafood soup - is the only thing that’s disappointing, but you are probably 120% over your capacity by the time you get the soup. By the way, isn’t it funny that Koreans eat a bowl of rice and seafood soup for their dessert?Their lunch special is outstanding as well. Whenever I crave sashimi, but I don’t want to spend $250 for a meal, I go to Bada Story for their lunch special. Nicely priced, but not compromised in quality. When the warm drinking water is exceptionally tasty (aka seung-nyeung) you know you are at a well operated restaurant. Highly recommended.”
