“my family visited my aunt who lives in the area for her birthday and we thought to try this place. i’m so glad we did because they had theeeee besssst seafood scallion pancake i’ve ever had and everyone in the group loved it!
i also really liked their banchan and hot tea.
i got their spicy brisket jjampong and i was very happy with my order.
the cooking definitely has a homemade taste to it as if we just went over a family friend’s house which was a nice feeling. the guy even told us there’s no msg in the food.
i would definitely come here again and would go more often if i lived closer 😆”

“Went there today for the first time with my wife, I had the 10 West burger, so delicious, cooked perfectly and the burger was huge, just the right number of toppings and the bacon jam hit it out of the park. The sweet potato fries were excellent and enough for two people. The chips that come with the burger were also good. My wife had the regular burger with no cheese and an order of regular fries. She really enjoyed it and said it was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, the owner, Mel, greeted us, took our order and chatted with us while our order was being prepared. We were given a little disc that lit up and vibrated when the order was ready to be picked up at the counter. One of the best burgers around! A little pricy, but definitely worth it! We'll be going back for another delicious mouthwatering experience!”

“The CRAZIEST thing has happened!!!

I have never experienced such high-effort service before. I was out for an early birthday dinner with a few family members, my uncle in particular, enjoys his drinks with ice (lol who doesn’t.) However, after he ordered his signature coca-cola, we were told there was no ice left. Understandably, my uncle was very upset and made it clear to the worker.

Just then, as we were receiving our sushi order, a very kind man named Michael noticed this concern, and told us he was going to the store to get ice. He went out of his way to leave the place, go to CVS, and FREAKING PAID FOR A GIANT ICE PACK JUST TO GIVE MY UNCLE AN ICED DRINK. He basically paid for our drinks if you compare prices. I have never experienced or witnessed this type of outstanding service before.

At first, we didn’t believe it at first, we even bet 5 bucks because we swore we just misheard him. 5 minutes later, he comes back with a giant iced cup just perfect for my uncle to pour his cola in. When was the last time you’ve experienced this?

And on top of that, he served us ice cream dessert on the house!!! We spoke to him for a bit, he even recognized us and where we sat all times we ate here in the past months. He is a very kind man. Shoutout to Michael!!!!!!”

Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.
It’s been more than 10 years but I’ll still come to Tenafly just for Good Taste general chicken tsp combo.

“Finally - a restaurant where great food doesn't require a second mortgage! My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight with zero expectations. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. I ordered the French onion soup, which was excellent. My wife ordered the Brussell sprouts which were out of this world! They were light and flaky and flavorful. I was happy the wife was willing to share! For entrees the wife got the Tuna Nicoise, which she loved. I ordered the Chicken Caprese sandwich which had the perfect ratio of meat to bread. The sandwich came with a small salad and the most delicious fries I've had in a while. Service was attentive but not overbearing. My water glass was consistantly filled. With appetizers and entrees out of the way, we had to try dessert. Sadly, this fell short of expectations. The lava cake was uninspired and the ice cream was crystalline. But we finished it anyway. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with the quality, food, and ambiance. I look forward to returning and trying the burgers. Definitely a new favorite.”
