“This is our favorite place for bagels in Tenafly. We moved from NYC and missed our morning bagels and thought we’d never find a good replacement. Their bagels are soft enough but not doughy and their everything bagel has the perfect amount of seasoning. I like that this bagel has a little salt in the seasoning and a little onion bite. The owners learned our “usual” quickly and are super nice.“

“The only place around that opens so early and will make you a breakfast sandwich. So it gets a bump up to 4 from 3 stars for that! Otherwise, food is ok. Cash only so be ready for that and for the dreaded coins as change. Don't forget to grab napkins as they don't put them in the bag. One of the guys is kinda cranky the other, usually in the back, is a sweetheart. Summary: 4 stars for being there when you need them in the morning!“

“With a name as generic as Bagel Shop in NYC, you better be good. Any concerns regarding quality were quickly dispelled when we walked through the door. The place was packed. We ordered a very basic selection of bagels and assorted spreads, nothing fancy. Overall, the food was great and the coffee was too...piping hot which is a plus. This is clearly a solid local spot with a well deserved reputation. We are glad we visitied and would return.“

“This was my second time visiting this café. The first time we tried the bagels and really enjoyed them. This time, we ordered an Italian hero, but it honestly didn’t impress me. I know it’s a simple dish, but it didn’t meet my expectations. The lettuce was served as a whole leaf instead of being properly chopped, and the sandwich was quite dry—I had to ask for extra vinegar to make it better.

The service is good, but this is definitely a place for bagels. I wouldn’t expect much from the rest of the menu.“

“I always get great service in this place. The food is fantastic (especially for the price). Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. “Absolutely amazing experience at Yummy Bagel & Deli! I ordered their stuffed bagel and it was seriously next level. A plain bagel loaded with cream cheese inside, then topped with melted cheese and garlic butter. So simple but SO good. What really made the visit stand out was the service. The owner came by to greet us personally, which was such a nice touch, and even let us try their coconut pound cake. They also have a parking lot, which makes it super convenient. “Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“

“this place is absolutely money! all the people working here are awesome and incredibly efficient. no matter how crowded it is i never have to wait longer than 5 minutes for my order. i make it a point to come in at least once a week for my sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel. they have a great selection of grab and go food and drinks as well. i seriously cannot recommend this place enough! stop in and grab a bite. you won’t be disappointed!“

“Standard NY bagel place. The neighborhood shop in Washington Heights. Crunchy and chewy, like a bagel should be. Had a slight chemical flavor to them. Maybe a weird batch...I'll still try them again.

Cream cheese flavors made on-site. You know because it's not mixed perfectly and there's still some chunks.
