“This is our favorite place for bagels in Tenafly. We moved from NYC and missed our morning bagels and thought we’d never find a good replacement. Their bagels are soft enough but not doughy and their everything bagel has the perfect amount of seasoning. I like that this bagel has a little salt in the seasoning and a little onion bite. The owners learned our “usual” quickly and are super nice.“

“The only place around that opens so early and will make you a breakfast sandwich. So it gets a bump up to 4 from 3 stars for that! Otherwise, food is ok. Cash only so be ready for that and for the dreaded coins as change. Don't forget to grab napkins as they don't put them in the bag. One of the guys is kinda cranky the other, usually in the back, is a sweetheart. Summary: 4 stars for being there when you need them in the morning!“

Always hits the spot and revives me! The bagels are consistently perfect, soft and delicious, my favorite is pumpernickel but their egg everything is also great. I go with SEC +avocado and hashbrown, SPK. The portions are always great and loaded. And lastly, can't beat their prices! We love Henry's!“

Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. A huge thank you to Mudy, the owner, for his hospitality! Since it was my first time here a French toast muffin made in house was given to me as a courtesy. Which was very kind! The muffin was so moist, had great flavor, the texture of the muffin top was light and crisp as well! This bagel shop has amazing prices! “I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. If you are gluten free and in the are do not pass this place up.“

“Standard NY bagel place. The neighborhood shop in Washington Heights. Crunchy and chewy, like a bagel should be. Had a slight chemical flavor to them. Maybe a weird batch...I'll still try them again.

Cream cheese flavors made on-site. You know because it's not mixed perfectly and there's still some chunks.

All in all, you know it's fresh here.“

“Stopped in here Fathers Day morning for some Bagels... The atmosphere was perfect, and very welcoming! The front door was open, so we could smell the garlic in the air! Beautiful area Downtown Hackensack and super easy parking! The service was fast, the options were plentiful, and the Bagels were amazing!!! “Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“

“I have had this place before through a friend bringing it over, and it was good. I never actually went myself until today, to end up being somewhat disappointed. I live about 5 or so mins away from the shop. So I place my order online, a double sausage and cheese on an egg bagel, a side of hash brown patties and a large iced coffee. The coffee was fine, the hash browns were so greasy and completely cold and my sandwich order was wrong and pretty cold as well. Would I revisit this place? Possibly. But I don't know if I will go out of my way again when there's a bagel shop down the street from me.“
