“Dining at Tha Phraya was a pleasant experience. The ambience of the restaurant and the service was great. The food was delicious with the right amount of spice levels for someone who liked spicy food. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly on a Saturday evening, so reservations are always a good idea. “They just revamped their menu and I’m all here for it! My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. The Thai ice cream was a perfect finish - sweet toppings, cold coconut ice cream, warm pandan sticky rice - all different flavors and textures but all work together in harmony.“

“We were trying to find a Thai restaurant close to The Great Gatsby show and found this little gem. The place itself is quite tiny, but intimate. Best suited for couples or groups of 4. Service was great and speedy. We really enjoyed the chive pancake and the pad see eww. The dumplings were good but nothing too special.“

“We came on a Thursday right before the 4th. We were immediately seated and noticed the place was a little warm. Not a big deal because it is one of the hottest days this summer. It's almost 100. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

“Last night I went out to dinner with my family per recommendation of my brother-in-law Evan who has frequented there various times already.

First off I would like to say that the host was on top of it. Anytime I had a question or doubt, he already had it taken care of it.

The staff were extremely accommodating and reliable and I would to especially shout out our waitress Cara who made us very feel welcomed and really took care of us!!

The food was amazing and enjoyed every bite, the shrimp donuts were a pleasant surprise and would def order again! Thanks for a great experience, looking forward to going back when I'm in town!“

Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. “Quaint little restaurant with authentic Thai food. We ordered the khao man gai zabb, khao kha moo, and papaya salad. The service was very efficient — food was served within 15min, piping hot, with extremely generous portions (our stomachs had insufficient space for their fragrant rice!!). Their soup was very rich and reminded us of the chicken rice soup that we have back at home. Their staff are also attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be visiting again if we’re in the area!“

The restaurant has a really cool, almost whimsical ambience with flowers everywhere, and sitting inside watching the rain outside while eating Thai food was a pretty perfect combination. I had the Pad Thai and my friend had the green curry, and the lunch deal is great value since you can add an appetizer as part of the meal. The food was good, the setting was even better, and I’ve heard the place has music in the evenings too, definitely worth coming back to experience that side of it.“

“I'm Malaysian and let me tell you that this is home to the BEST nasi lemak in the city. The sambal is 12/10 sedap (delicious). Everything on the menu we tried was a banger. Can't wait to come back. My son Allen ordered the crispy duck, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I ordered the whole fried red snapper with coconut sauce, and it was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and of very high quality.

The wine was also delicious and paired beautifully with the meal. Our waiter was excellent very attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure we were enjoying our dinner.
