“During my visit, I experience good customer service; an employee is kind and the kiosk is easy to use. I arrive at this location for a Vegan eatery which seems to no longer be there, so I just order the Pad See Ew (w/ Tofu) from Racha Thai Restaurant. The noodles carry the spices very well. The broccoli tastes delicious. The brown sauce is light, not heavy. The eggs are light and carry more sweetness than any other flavor. The tofu is soft, and a good blending ingredient to soften spicier flavors. Each ingredient blends well together in a bite. Overall, for the most part, the meal offers a lot of tasty, spicy, and sweet flavors. For the least part, there is an off flavor (with about four bites) that is so inconsistent with the rest of the meal I wonder if any part of the meal might be post expiration. The establishment offers seating outdoors though the food pick-up area offers kiosks to order and pick-up only, it seems. There are humans working at the eatery. One may need to inquire of an employee if the establishment accepts cash.“

“My best friend chose this place and it was a slam dunk :) Highly recommend the khao soi gai - the chicken was so tender. I loved the coconut milk / curry and egg noodles. It was filling and delicious.

The tumeric branzini was also incredible! A whole fish that has a slight crisp / crunch. Yummm. Don’t eat the dried spicy pepper like I did (it’s verrryy spicy Thai chili and I had to chug tons of ice water after).

Overall amazing restaurant, with more unique dishes than your standard mom + pop Thai spot. The staff was so kind.“

“Prince & I feels less like a restaurant and more like being invited into someone’s home for dinner — in the best way possible.

From the moment we walked in, the owner personally seated us and ended up cooking our food himself. He has a quirky, memorable personality that adds to the charm of the whole experience. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the food is made with intention rather than being rushed out of a big commercial kitchen.

The dishes were packed with flavor and tasted very authentic. You can really tell the ingredients and spices are balanced the way Thai food should be — bold, savory, a little spicy, and deeply satisfying. Everything we ordered had great texture and presentation as well.

Overall, it was a unique dining experience with authentic flavors and a memorable host. If you’re looking for a polished corporate restaurant this isn’t it — but if you want something personal, quirky, and genuinely delicious, Prince & I is absolutely worth visiting.

“I have ate at Tom Yum Koong for quite some time, almost since the time I was 15 years old. I always grabbed a bite here after tutoring and extensive study hours.

After graduating, I am practically a regular now and have tried at least everything on the menu except for the chef's specials and several appetizers. I'm sure they are great too and worth sharing as a family.

For what it's worth, the owner, Anne is a wonderful person. She is enthusiastic about her culture, her dishes, and everything she provides to her customers is simply the best. Though, the food can be heavy and forced me to go into deep food comas at times! In fact, I was so hungry one time that I ordered a Pad Thai with extra noodles! It was crazy, but the consistency and use of aromatics, as well as sauce was amazing.

For starters of Thai cusine, I recommend anything from their lunch special. The salad, soup, and entree was worth it. I suppose that the portion is less than their dinners, but mind you, everything tasted delicious! However, the only thing I'd say is that the food has gotten expensive. It makes sense, so be very careful of ordering here like I did.

As for tipping, it is required here for sit-down and encouraged for takeout. I tend to eat here alone, and there's no shame in that, but I always tend to tip around $2-3. The restaurant does not do any Uber, Door dash, or anything of the like, so if you order, you'd need to pick it up yourself after calling the store, or wait until at least 5pm and call them for delivery. They accept either cash or card, but if it's card, you'd need to tell them your card information and the amount to tip.

Regardless, Tom Yum Koong is a great restaurant. Given how long I have been eating here, the owners treat me pretty much like family. I guess it's a good thing, but it's also probably because I always prefer eating here more than anywhere else!“

“Pad sew was good, 9/10 for me. Good flavor and protein. Pad kra pow proportions were off. Too much unnecessary vegetables and not enough ground meat. Was also too oily / saucy. Flavor was good though, I think if the chef / owner fixes this (easy adjustment), this dish is would be a 10/10. But for me, due to lack of protein and meat, I would give it 6/10. David, the owner, is a great host and will adjust any dish to your liking. Try the chicken wrap and Scallion Pancakes appetizers with the homemade Thai O'Brien's hot sauce. “An Asian mall food joint with an interesting Thai twist. In reality, I don't think the food is very Thai - the offerings are pretty similar to Chinese food, like Panda Express. Their specialty is the Mango Chicken, which I love and is a much sweeter version of the Orange Chicken. I know it probably has more sugar than I need for a week but it tastes so darn good. The Pad Thai is passable but nowhere near the quality of legit Thai restaurants; I prefer the fried rice instead. They will give you a lot of food - much more than Panda Express. As long as you're not expecting anything more than good mall food, this is a great option at the Garden State Plaza Food Court.“
