“Let me say the customer service here is great. The guy always hands out samples when you walk buy which is what actually made me a customer. The chicken is sweet and crunchy (some might say too sweet) The noodles surprisingly had a bite to them and were not soggy. To me this is like american-chinese food, although i have not tried the thai items on the menu like pad thai. The price is high ($12-13 for pic shown) but the portions are huge. “This is one of my favorite Thai food spots in this area. Food is really good. I order from here and pick up quite often. However sometimes I order for delivery and I really wish they could get stickers or something to go on top of the drinks to ensure delivery drivers can’t put anything in it. Or the drinks don’t leak out.“

We ordered the Khao Soi w/ Chicken, Vegetarian Pad Thai, and Green Curry w/ Pork — and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The Khao Soi was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and tender chicken, the Pad Thai had the ideal balance of sweetness and spice, and the Green Curry was creamy, aromatic, and packed with fresh herbs.

“Absolutely delicious. The food here is phenomenal. This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant that I’ve been to in New Jersey.

The owner is incredibly sweet as well!! She is from Thailand, and she commutes incredibly far from where she lives to come to this restaurant and she cooks everything fresh for you. You can tell - the effort shows up in the food - the flavors are sublime. Although I finished it before I had a chance to take a photo, I also tried the green curry here, and it was great.

The owner is so sweet and dedicated to making the food authentic but also accessible for all varieties of taste buds, so make sure to let her know what spice level you are comfortable with! She is really friendly and would be happy to adhere to whatever preference u have!“

“Excellent place for a delicious Thai meal! Absolutely love the clean ambience, service and the friendly staff. This is my second time coming just to try another dish because I was impressed the first time I had the green curry!
Today I decided to try the Vegetarian Pad Kee Mao which had hand cut noodles with onions peppers eggplant mushroom and thai basil sauce. It has been the best I tried. It was amazingly tasty and full of vegetable. I also tried the veggie dumplings and ofcourse it didn't disappoint me. Portion are good aswell as price.
Definitely enough vegetarian option and they even have 🍸 cocktail and also other drinks. Highly recommend.“

“I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants. Red Basil is the best Thai food I have had. Other Thai places are very sweet. Even though all of their food is great, I highly recommend the green curry. Red Basil has rich flavor without being so sweet. The service is also great. Great atmosphere.“

“I’ve been a local to this restaurant for years and never had the chance to try it, thankfully I finally did and WOW!! One of the best chicken pad Thai’s I’ve ever had! The chicken was well seasoned and high-quality white meat. The noodles were the perfect texture without being burnt like most places do.
