“Had a fantastic experience at Al Dente in Elmwood Park. This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant with that warm, family-run feeling that makes a meal here feel much more personal.

The menu has a great selection of classic Italian dishes, from homemade pasta and ravioli to chicken, veal, seafood, and some really good appetizers. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and everything has that comforting, homemade quality you want from an Italian restaurant. I also really like that it’s BYOB, which makes it a great option for a relaxed dinner.

The ownership was a pleasure to talk to, and I really enjoyed our conversation. You can tell there’s genuine pride in the restaurant and in creating a great experience for their customers.

Overall, Al Dente is a fantastic local spot in Elmwood Park for authentic Italian food, generous portions, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!”

“Great food, love the jerk chicken option. Location/parking area was kinda weird then again I don’t usually go here. I did an online order and pick up so it was it quick, no line what so ever. Anyways will definitely get more when we’re in the mood for some halal chicken and rice.”

“We went there for the first time today. Service was prompt and courteous. Since we couldn't decide from all the options, the owner was nice enough to throw in an order of fries. Unexpected and very nice. Good crinkle cut fries! Cheesesteaks (one chicken) were very good. Seeded semolina bread, always like that! Reminded us of Christos, which is a compliment, but this is closer (bonus!). Hot dog on potato bun was perfect and much bigger than bun. Only 2 suggestions : a few more seats; menu says shakes and fountain sodas available. They're not. Not a big fan of Boylans. Place is very clean. We will definitely be back.”

“I stopped by to watch a game and ended up staying for dinner. The bourbon bacon burger was cooked exactly how I asked, and the loaded waffle fries were crispy and perfect for sharing. The bartenders were friendly, drinks came out quickly, and the atmosphere was energetic without being too loud. Great neighborhood sports bar with solid food and excellent service.”

As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. There are two young people who especially come to mind.
