“This a 5 star review because it hit all of the check marks. You simply cannot get the same value you will get here anywhere else.Firstly, the staff is family, and very welcoming and accommodating. They Truly care about the restaurant, its legacy and there foodA very comfortable environment with 80's/90's country music playing and a homey feeling dining room. I felt like I went my cousins for dinner and coffee. Our waitress was one of the owners and helped me select some craft brews they offered. Very generous and appreciated. The Buffalo Wings are excellent. Cooked right and in a thinner sauce with a little zing but not overpowering. Our dinners were the Godfather Trio (Veal, Shrimp Parm and Eggplan Rollantini) and the 16oz Sizzling steak. The Italian Trio was a good portion and had a nice sauce, very filling and a very reasonable price. The Steak was better than some steakhouses and "higher-end" restaurants that like to charge $40-$60 for it.The steak was PERFECT! And for a price point under $30 is one of the best bargains you can find! Flavor was amazing and cooked expertly! We finished with coffee and the Chocolate Mousse Cake & Cheesecake. Well worth it and again; a price you can't beat.We even took home dinners for work the next day. It was that good. This is a Gem and a throw back to how things used to be and should be. Where your welcomed in and treated like a guest in a home and fed a wonderful meal.***Keep in mind - Cash Only But the have anATM on site. Not a big deal.Head in and enjoy. I'll definitely be back!!!“
“to start off the service is amazing . staff is super helpful and accommodating making sure customers are satisfied. they have a wide selection of food, so there is always something to order for everyone, even those who are more picky than others. they also have live music and restaurant is very spacious and great for a date night, family/friend get togethers. always down to go here and i’m not even from new jersey!“
“Mandatory tip of 20% if you spend over $100 with a credit card. They don’t tell you, so a lot of my friends and colleagues were double tipping for over a year - the staff doesn’t say anything. Otherwise, best vibes of any bar, amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing music, amazing ambiance.“
“I loved this place went here for the first time tonight for my baby girls 6th birthday great vibes she loved it so amazingKid-friendliness: So loving and kind to my daughter it was amazing and felt so good to be able to go somewhere being I am a single mom and me and my kids are always looking for a place we can all sit down eat and enjoy ourselves at thank you all so much“
“What a gastronomic experience. My family and I had the most wonderful dinner in the Dining Room - the Prix fix menu, plus a few extras, was an incredible delight. Mike, our server was outstanding, and the wine pairings were a beautiful complement to the experience. Thank you for doing such a great job.“
“Tried the TikTok viral restaurant. It used to be a Michelin one-star in 2021 and 2022. Although it has lost its Michelin star last year, I still think it’s my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC so far. Had a fantastic experience here! The salad turned out to be a game-changer. As someone who typically shies away from salads, Don Angie's version won me over with its unique flavors and freshness. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.Don Angie lived up to its viral acclaim. My friend and I walked in at 9:15 pm, and we got seated in 20 minutes!! Strongly recommend this way of dining.“
“The food, cocktails and view are excellent. Only the service failed. The waiter was impatient and inattentive. I ordered a cocktail that had been very difficult for me to find in other places and the Bartender made it delicious. It was a rainy day at times there was no visibility but the atmosphere and the drinks were very pleasant.“
“I really like this restaurant! The food is high quality and the experience is fine dining but fun/relaxed.The menu is composed of bits of familiar recipes with Korean twists and French culinary techniques. There’s galbi, squid ink fried rice, uni, and mäd toast (which sounded monstrous but I didn’t get to try it this time) plus much more. I liked that the menu is small-sized and minimalist with clearly labeled snacks, little colds, hots, mains, extras, and desserts (menu is posted outside the entrance and on website). The current menu that started in mid-March has snacks/appetizers such as spicy yellowtail tart, beef tartare, fried shiitake mushroom rice balls (I think?, it’s labeled as mushroom arancini on the menu), pork head katsu, and scallion buns with unique sauces on the side ($20 per person, either no one or everyone orders). I tried the mushroom tempura with onion dip too! Everything was elegantly and adorably plated. Our server explained what’s what and suggested how to best enjoy some dishes. They have a really extensive drinks menu (many pages), complete with your usual offerings and their own unique cocktails, rice alcohol, maekgeolli, and even alcohol free cocktails woohoo! Not sure if all of the ice cubes for the alcoholic drinks are engraved with the restaurant’s name and logo but ours were and I thought that was a really cool and personal touch. An equally important part of my dining experience was the atmosphere and service. The staff are attentive, frequently filling glasses low on water and folding napkins when you step away. They also keep the music bopping and adjust their playlists. The lighting is a little dim and the interior is ‘cool club’ vibes but for a slightly more sophisticated audience. It’s a place to come in casual or dressed up a little for fun. It’s best for smaller groups of 1-4 I think based on seating arrangements but they seem to be able to accommodate slightly larger groups at some bigger tables and in the back room. Expect to pay $50-$100 if you get one item from each category on the menu and a drink. Probably $100+ if you get more or multiple drinks. The bar area in the back is across from the kitchen, which might be cool to peek at to see some staff members curating orders.I like that it’s on a quieter block in ktown area. The price range and location filters out loud and teen crowds, so it feels like a great place for young adults and Millenials to catch up or go on a date. It’s a place to sit down and chat while you savor small bites and wait on more food to arrive, so you’ll probably need like 1.5-2 hours if you’re going for a natural relaxed pace. I also saw a family of 5 enjoying dinner together here. Lastly, this is random but the hand soap is heavenly. I can’t wait to see what other menus they craft!!Dietary restrictions: They will ask about dietary restrictions and can modify recipes. If you don’t eat certain ingredients/foods, they can omit snacks too and adjust the price for you accordingly.“
“Amazing food, drinks, and service! The birds of paradise drink was amazing if you like a little spice. They brought out bread (including gluten free bread) with a dipping sauce of olive oil, garlic paste, and peppers that was incredible. We split the caviar topped tater tots, tuna crudo, broccoli (served over yogurt, so unique and one of the best veggie dishes we’ve ever had), and the limone pasta on a gf noodle (gf noodle made in house and my non-gf friend said it was amazing pasta even among non-gf. Every bite was amazing. Top tier service. So knowledgeable about dietary needs. Cute ambiance. Can’t wait to return!Dietary restrictions: Very gluten free friendly! Can modify almost every dish. Very knowledgeable about ingredients, shared fryers, etc.“
“A bit louder than other Michelin-rated establishments. Professional service team but could've had timing and communication down more. Not a significant issue though. Food was fresh and flavorful. Highlights were the tuna tartar canape, the seabass and the nam foc mai mango with coconut rice. No chicken or beef on our menu. Diver scallops were over-cooked.“
“BAR REVIEW ONLY. Came here recently Sunday afternoon close to their closing time but we were welcomed warmly regardless—decided to grab seats at the bar. The restaurant is nice and fancy looking, loved it!Started off with caviar—SO DELICIOUS!! We tried the Siberian Sturgeon ($75/25gr) and Classic Ostra ($95/25gr)—perfect portion for a light bite with drinks. Cocktails were great as well—highly recommend the “Caviar”tini—vodka martini with pomegranate jelly shaped to mimic caviar in the drink!Overall, service was AMAZING! Our bartender was friendly and attentive and made the best drinks!“
“A lovely dine-in bar-restaurant in UWS. I have been there during the happy hours (3:30 to 6 PM) and I would recommend the same. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, best for a group or an intimate date. I would highly recommend the Consulate's Old Fashioned which has Mescal. The French 85 is also good.“
“Absolute top of the line dining experience. My wife and I have been to numerous Michelin starred restaurants and after a while you feel like you’re just eating the same 17 course tasting menu over and over again. Luckily, Le Pavillon allows you to order proper portions and have a real meal and the overall experience was way more impressive than the already high expectations we had.I started with a take on chicken soup which was impressive and delicious, my main was a beef duo with incredible vegetables and sauces, and I finished with the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. My wife had an onion tart that was a play on French onion soup, incredible duck, and then a play on an ice cream cake. The service was impeccable and friendly without being snobby at all and the decor was beautiful, with an entire indoor garden in a high rise with tons of storefront glass. Look one way and there was nature - look the other and it’s the city. Everything was impressive and wonderful and we’ve already talked about returning.“
“A Plant-Based ParadiseWillow Vegan Bistro is a dream come true for vegans seeking delicious, familiar comfort food. Their menu expertly transforms classic American dishes into exciting plant-based creations. Expect high-quality ingredients, innovative flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere – a must-try for any vegan in NYC.“
“We had dinner here to celebrate my mum's birthday before going to a Broadway show. The service was great and the food was delicious! We had a pre-theatre menu, which was good value, and everything tasted so good. One person in our group has a gluten allergy; they had a GF menu which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place!“
“The food here was really good and the bottomless brunch option was a great addition to the meal. Our waitress, Daisy, was such a lovely person and was quick to meet any of our needs. I would definitely come again for the food and atmosphere!“
“Visited bass on other tourist recommendations for a late breakfast. However it wasn't till I sat down that I was informed that the brunch offering was only available on the weekends.Having already been seated, it would have been rude to leave. I ordered the chicken salad dish which was delicious and well balanced. A tad over priced for what was served but in all an enjoyable meal.“
“This wine bar in midtown is a gem among the sea of Irish Pubs and delis. The service is top-notch and international, adding to the welcoming vibe. Went alone, sat at the bar and ordered a charcuterie which was excellent value and quality, paired perfectly with bold reds, handpicked with the help of their awesome servers. Loved it.“
“The absolute most friendliest staff. The entrance is disguised so if you’re confused, just look at the address number. The space is very cozy, they have complimentary coat check and the staff were amazing. Both my friend and I enjoyed our cocktails. Did not try the food; but the people next to us did and it smelled sooo good.“
“Ocean Prime is a must if down in NYC. We had came for my wife’s birthday and had an amazing experience. Our serve Ripon was amazing and made great suggestions for drinks, entrees, and desert. He made sure my wife’s birthday was perfect. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too.“
“Barbuto is terrific. Really cool far west village location and it's a large space with a big bar (where we had a great house martini prior to dinner, the best way to eat out). The team is friendly from the get go and we felt taken care of by the friendly staff. We went for the roast chicken and it didn't disappoint. Don't expect it to be life changing but it is among the best roast chicken in NYC: juicy with great flavor and an amazing crispy skin served with their version of a chimichurri sauce. Delicious. Also want to acknowledge the calamari salad which is maybe the best version of fried calamari I've ever had. Great place and I'm happy it's here!“
“The crispy eggs Benedict is a treat for the morning - the preparation is a bit of an improvement of the poached egg on this classic style Benedict. The French toast perfectly done with a thin outer crisp and fluffy inside. Great way to start the day!“
“What a cool and awesome vibe! We had an amazing beverage, and the charcuterie board was super yummy! Just a quick walk from Time Square and 100% worth a visit! Colton was our bartender and gave us some other great suggestions on where to go! The experience, overall, was just amazing!!!“
“I cannot state enough just how delicious the food is here !!! Soooooooooo good !! Everything was full of soo much flavor and the steak had to have been one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had perfect temp and seasoning. It’s pretty inside and perfect to go for a date night the ambiance is nice. Definitely recommend this place“
“Ambience was wonderful, service was great, drinks were delicious, food was lackluster. Something was missing. We found a few dishes without the proper seasoning, needing salt or acid. There were highlights- risotto was perfect, agnolotti hit every mark. Nevertheless, it was a good visit and we would love to go back when in NYC again.“
“I had an incredible experience at Consulate restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The escargot and bone marrow were amazing, offering a true taste of French cuisine. The restaurant's beautiful design and atmosphere added to the overall experience. Okan, our server, was incredibly hospitable, and KAT, the manager, was fabulous and even helped me book an event. I also have to mention the fantastic Martini made by bartender Kiril. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Highly recommended!“
“It was a day from hell and I took my daughter with me to happy hour for dinner. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Our waiter was one of the kindest people I've met and the whole staff was amazing. The food was delicious and the drink specials were more than fair!! Everything was top notch and the vibe was fun and relaxing. I recommend this place 100%!! I can't wait to go back and try brunch there. We checked out the menu and it looks amazing!!“
“Food, drinks, and service were incredible! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a date night in NYC, and it was absolutely perfect for a date night! The only thing is the restaurant is tiny tiny so don't think about having a large dinner party, but for a more intimate dinner or lunch, I would highly recommend it! The burrata was our absolute favorite dish! 10/10 recommend!“
“It's really pretty simple....Chicken parm pizza? Yes please. There's a lot to love about Quality Italian from their tasty salads to the pasta classics but for me it comes down to the chicken parm pizza....ill say it again....yes, please.“
“Ayza is a favorite restaurant for my friends and family. Although I skipped the Chocolate Martini for which the restaurant is known; Prosecco and appetizers were a delicious alternative. We sat in the outdoor heated space. I have also eaten in the trolley acquired during the initial stages of the pandemic. The indoor space is small but most tables seat four people comfortably. I visit Ayza every time I visit NY. I highly recommend this space for fun.“
“As always the food and drinks were amazing - it really does not get any better than an RH dining experience. Carla and Trinity were our servers and they truly made my daughter feel so special on her birthday. A special thank you to Sasha for the incredible hospitality.“
“Very cute place with friendly bartenders! They have downstairs piano lounge that reminds me of New Orleans :) The menu downstairs is different from upstairs so that has some cool variety and I loved the spicy margarita I got. They also were able to make a custom drink with the passion fruit liquor they had.“
“I went here yesterday for lunch oh my was I blown away, the star of the show was our server Ayleen the woman is brilliant her smile lit up our day so professional and respectful she also has an extensive food knowledge like I've never seen before she knew every ingredient and exactly how to explain the menu, now let me tell you the place was super packed she had so many tables I saw this woman fly through the restaurant servicing quickly and with a smile on her face she's absolutely amazing she gave me manager vibes I hope this place knows what they have she's one in a million, I'm actually a restaurant manager myself. I will be coming back many times i hope i can request her each time Thank you Ms Ayleen I hope you see this you are awesome“
“chicken empanadas to start were out of this world! lobster soup and steak were so tasty steak cooked to perfection! staff amazing, so friendly and welcoming especially when they found out we are from Scotland! chatted with lady behind bar, sorry cant remember your name who has visited Scotland many times! fab!“
“This is a great spot for a date or special occasion. Dinner is Pre-Fix and the menu changes seasonally. The dining areas are very inviting. The staff was very detail oriented and just enough but not on top of you. Basically the service is impeccable. As for the food everything is timed great and everything we ate was awesome. I thought I might leave hungry initially but that was not the case. Must go to spot for a romantic dinner“
“As always the food and drinks were amazing - it really does not get any better than an RH dining experience. Carla and Trinity were our servers and they truly made my daughter feel so special on her birthday. A special thank you to Sasha for the incredible hospitality.“
“Always lovely service and excellent food, but we were seated in a busy corner with a lot of small tables crammed together, and with the staff coming by and people squeezing in and out, my chair gets hit repeatedly, and I'm a very small person with my seat scooted in!“
“Food was excellent. We ordered the cauliflower bites as an appetizer and it was so delicious with a little kick and enough for the 3 of us to have several pieces. The chicken and steak sandwiches with French fries was so yummy. This was a great after theatre restaurant. Quick service without being rushed. There is also entertainment there.“
“4.5 / 5.0 - My friends and I came here for brunch on Easter Sunday and were in for a fun surprise.Robert is on top of the Museum of Arts and Design, with impressive views of Columbus Circle and Central Park. We’d made reservations in advance but unfortunately were unable to sit by the windows with views. We still had a very enjoyable meal in this spacious and stylish restaurant. We ordered the Rigatoni ($25+), Lobster Roll ($21+) and Scrambled Eggs & Caviar ($28+). The complimentary basket of bread and muffins was a nice addition. The food was good, but the highlight for me was the festive atmosphere and Easter treats. They had a cotton candy stand, where they offered free cotton candy. And during our meal, an Easter bunny came around, waving and posing for photos.I’m not sure how they celebrate other holidays, but I would love to be back again for more unique experiences as well as the views.“
“Another brilliant meal! I never miss the opportunity to eat here when I’m in NYC and I Love sharing this place with people I know. An exceptional menu, great cocktails, amazing and attentive service and always a delightful culinary experience. Bravo!“
“A great variety of well seasoned food. The portions were pretty large. The atmosphere is nice for a date or just to hang out with friends. I think they have two levels. Our large group ate downstairs. I would recommend the chicken enchiladas and the shrimp Po’ Boy.“
“Loved this place. You walk in and you instantly feel invited. I loved the decor made you feel like you are eating at home. The service was impeccable not hovering but there any time we needed anything, with waiter, maitre D, and Chef all checking in on us. We started with the Cesare Cups loved the take on it. The Scallops crudo was sweet and tender and topped with a lovely portion of caviar. The baked oysters yummy. Portions are definitely ample. Then we had the oxtail trofie. The oxtail just melted with each bite of pasta. And finally came out the roasted duck. It may have been my favorite duck breast ever. So tender and flavorful. The veggies that it came with added to the flavor perfectly. I will go back just for that. The only disappointment was the chocolate mousse but the chef brought out some delicious chocolate chip cookies so nothing missed. Highly recommend checking this one out“
“The food at Giorgios's was absolutely delicious. The steak, the salmon, and the gnocchi was all enjoyed by my family. Georgio's also has a great wait staff, everyone is very welcoming and friendly. It was a great first visit and I recommend it.“
“First time there yesterday..the place is beautiful. The food was OK. Our waiter Jonathan C was awesome!! The blue crab doesn’t need the powdered sugar on top. The alligator bites batter was too salty and the cornbread was on the dry side….half a loaf is only 2 small slices for $8…not cool. And last but not least, the bread pudding should have been warm and the caramel sauce taste burnt. I will still give it a 8 out of 10 rating.“
“We only discovered St. Eves a couple weeks ago - great neighborhood spot! Food was very good, service on point, nice atmosphere. Seating a little tight though. Big plus for us - byob! On the pricier side but well worth it. Will definitely included St. Eves in our regular restaurant rotation.“
“Came here for a bday lunch before a Broadway show. My parents were coming in from Penn Station so this location was terrific. Service was excellent from start to finish - I had left a note when confirming the reservation that it was a bday and three people greeted us with a happy bday message upon arrival. Our food was delicious (I had the breakfast sandwich and fresh squeezed orange juice) and as a bday surprise a low key dessert was sent to the table with a candle (perfect for our celebrant). I’ll be back in the future and recommend for a nice but unpretentious pre-show brunch/lunch for sure!“
“A great experience overall, with no complaints really! This was my second time here and it’s still just as good. Unless money comes easy to you, this isn’t a casual eatery in my opinion (perhaps lunch though, as I’ve only ever been here for dinner). It’s definitely not cheap but for a special occasion it is a wonderful treat. The cocktails are all Broadway themed which I think is fun, and the one I had was packed with fresh, muddled fruit which was delicious. For food, I can’t recommend enough the goat cheese and pistachio soufflé, so tasty!! I also get the steak frites which is always solid in my book. My other guests enjoyed their crusted branzino and chicken with lemon and sage; two other solid choices. My mother in law had the meatloaf which she said she enjoyed but was perhaps slightly too sweet for her taste. Although, admittedly, her tolerance for anything sweet is notably low, so interpret that how you will. And for dessert the banana split was outrageously good, especially the caramelized banana and toasted marshmallow. The only thing I would change there would be to swap out the scoop of strawberry ice cream with chocolate flavor, as the strawberry clashed a bit in my opinion.Again, this place is wonderful and I can’t wait until I can afford to go back and try other things on their menu.“
“Hands down the best hidden gem in NYC. Entertainment is all around you when you walk in the door. Cocktails are phenomenal due to an elevated menu and all the ingredients you never knew you wanted to experience. Can’t wait to visit next trip.“
“It’s alright here, pretty loud music, decent food, but I probably wouldn’t come back. The Tara Rose burger is pretty solid, but nothing to die for. Drinks are quite pricy, so I would recommend coming during happy hour, if you’re looking for that.“
“My partner and I love ordering from here. We live in the neighborhood and it’s so convenient to have a place like this we can walk to for something delicious at a great price. I don’t think you could go wrong ordering anything off their menu; their pizza is the perfect Jersey pizza, their burritos are huge and taste SO fresh, and their cheeseburgers are like In N Out but WAY better quality. They also have desserts and the chocolate cake I tried was great. Love Aileen’s “
