“We’ve come to St. Eves for dinner several times over the past few years, and we’ve always loved the food and the atmosphere, so when it came time to celebrate my birthday, hosting a party in their private room was an easy choice. I’m so glad we did!

Thank you to the entire staff for making it such a special night. The food was amazing, the service was attentive and seamless, and the private room was the perfect setting for our group. From start to finish, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back, and I’d highly recommend St. Eves to anyone planning a celebration!“

“The dining experience was excellent. However, do not bring your own birthday cake. Because the restaurant will charge you $2.75 per person to slice it. I find this obnoxious and unnecessary as a charge to their customers. The manager, I spoke to, “Junior“ was most disagreeable and clearly did not know how to work with customers who were having a large party for an event. I paid a lot of money for that birthday cake and we spent quite a bit of money there as well, but he would not budge which I was very put off by. So, in the future, understand that they will charge you 275 per person per slice. Maybe not the best place to go for a birthday celebration. I know I will not be returning for that kind of event again.“

“Place is outstanding. It is a party for your palate. A great place to mix and match to get as many flavors as possible. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Owners came out and greeted us. Highly recommend for a fine dining experience.“

Firstly, our servers Tlijah & Jennifer were so professional in every possible way. They truly set the stage for a great dinning experience. We were fortunate to meet Sandra the manager who was equally cordial and professional in every way possible. Our experience was just that good. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine location. We've been here just a couple of times but our last few visits were tended by Nadean, an absolute delight! Im a super picky eater and tend to have a lot of special requests, but my girl makes me feel like a regular person - no irritation and my order always comes out perfect
The only reason for i pulled a star was because we were sat by the kitchen and my boyfriend is sound sensitive, so the constant dish clattering was rough for him
Maybe consider a sound barrier between the tables and the kitchen, at least by the sink?

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“Just had brunch at White Maple Cafe. This place has such a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, in the middle of the lovely town of Ridgewood. We had the chicken wings, short rib benedict, and sandwiches. All the food is extremely high quality, delicious, and tastes like it was made with love! The owner Maryam is the most kind, welcoming, and caring host, as well as a great barista! I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Support this business - they deserve all the love!“

“I eat here every week with a big group and the food is always delicious. I like to order the chili nachos, and it's perfect for sharing. They are also very accommodating with allergies and have promptly answered questions about allergy content. The servers are very friendly and it's always very lively. Even outside of my group I like to take friends here. Parking is a bit tricky but it's worth it even if you have to park on the side of the road. Highly recommend!“

This time we started with 3 apps that I tried. A salmon tatar, raw oysters on a half shell and shrimp. We like to eat and love our food lol. Soo sooo good- Then I ordered the tuna that had a perfect crispy crust on the outside and rare on the inside with a delicious wasabi sauce along side black rice and steamed bok choy. “I'll be honest - I had pretty low expectations given my picky NYC taste buds but this place DELIVERS. The food is rich in flavor, plated like Gordon Ramsay is waiting with a camera crew, and very family friendly. I have a 4 year old and 2.5 year old, and it was so easy with them. There's a huge lawn for them to expend energy and it's in a very quiet little enclosure so it's very safe. The staff are very nice - like they could easily be kindergarten teachers. Definitely adding this spot into my weekly ventures. I almost didn't even wanna leave the review so it remains a hidden gem but they deserve all the business and then some. Thank you!“

I don't know if it was a bad night, they changed the recipe or changed the chef, but it was nothing like we remembered. Too bad, very disappointing.“
