“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“Albert’s’s has been a go to favorite for many years and Albert is an excellent host. The food never disappoints and the service is always great. I recommend Albert’s HoHokus whole heartedly.“

“First time their! Food was amazing. The short ribs melted in your mouth!. The arugula salad with hearts of palm and fresh cheese was delicious! The strawberry shortcake made in a tall glass was so creative and delicious! Can’t wait to go back! The service was excellent!“

“The dining experience was excellent. However, do not bring your own birthday cake. Because the restaurant will charge you $2.75 per person to slice it. I find this obnoxious and unnecessary as a charge to their customers. The manager, I spoke to, “Junior“ was most disagreeable and clearly did not know how to work with customers who were having a large party for an event. I paid a lot of money for that birthday cake and we spent quite a bit of money there as well, but he would not budge which I was very put off by. So, in the future, understand that they will charge you 275 per person per slice. Maybe not the best place to go for a birthday celebration. I know I will not be returning for that kind of event again.“

“It’s a nice place with a welcoming atmosphere. Even on a weekday evening, the tables filled up quickly, which says a lot about its popularity.

I was surprised that the bread wasn’t complimentary, but the soft, delicious butter made it well worth the price. The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive.

It’s a BYOB restaurant, and if you don’t bring your own, you can have wine delivered from a nearby wine shop with no delivery fee, which is a nice convenience. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely come back.“

“We went here to celebrate our anniversary and they made our dinner feel special by having a chalkboard sign wishing us a happy anniversary for our table. We were also given an anniversary card with a coupon to get a free app on our next visit. The food was really good and filled you without making you feel overstuffed. Our waitress Deborah was kind and attentive too!“

“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. “We had our holiday party here and the experience was excellent. The staff was extremely accommodating, making everything run smoothly. The food was beyond outstanding as usual! This time we started with 3 apps that I tried. A salmon tatar, raw oysters on a half shell and shrimp. We like to eat and love our food lol. Soo sooo good- Then I ordered the tuna that had a perfect crispy crust on the outside and rare on the inside with a delicious wasabi sauce along side black rice and steamed bok choy.
