“Food has definitely gotten better. We had the Calabrian clams, duck leg, white bolognese, grilled prawns and blood orange cheesecake. Everything was wonderful and fresh, could be better with some minor tweaks. The clams should be served with some bread to soak up that delicious sauce. The prawns would have been much better if it was left whole with shell and head on, it was slightly over cooked. All in all, a fantastic meal!!“

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“This restaurant was new to this area, and it did not miss. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the staff. We booked a reservation last minute and they were able to accommodate us on a pretty busy night. We hung out at the bar until our table was ready, and it was in a semi-private room, which I liked. “Had a fantastic dinner at Allendale Social last Saturday. We especially enjoyed the Korean fried chicken and the heavenly miso cheesecake—both standout dishes.

The candlelit room created a beautiful atmosphere, and the live music added just the right touch.

A special shoutout to our server, Charles. Knowledgeable and friendly, he guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and paced the evening perfectly.

“Was great overall! The drinks were delicious (The dragon cosmo was a really really good recommendation!) The food was fairly priced and the chicken nachos are honestly my favorite, I couldn't take a good photo cause I couldn't stop eating them!
Server was attentive and very nice, only downside was my dessert was packed up and they forgot to bring my container of hardly eaten wings I was going to save for later and I realized way too late it wasn't in my bag :') Everything tasted great aside from that“

“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“Absolutely delectable. I came here with 4 friends. They made sure that i was serious about my salt + 3 oreo inclusions on my oreo milkshake, which i was, the care they took into my semi-large order was very appreciated. This was perhaps one of the best milkshakes that i have had in all time. I’ve come here several times and they have never missed. My friends and i love it here. You have a place in our hearts!“

“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. “Sam’s Table is a cozy restaurant with a seasonal menu and very welcoming staff and decor. We dined here with friends in March where we had the most delicious spring menu. Everyone at the table tried something they “don’t usually like” and Sam changed our minds. Every course was fresh, creative, beautiful and delicious. I loved how each dish had a special touch - we had preserved lemon and pea tendrils and sunflower seed tahini and dandelion. We will definitely be back.“
