“Dough’s fun logo caught our eye and after driving by a bunch of times, we finally gave it a try. And WOW, were we impressed! We tried the zucchini crips, deviled eggs, Caesar salad, shroom pie and b&b pie…and everything was amazingly delicious. I never thought I’d be so impressed with a zucchini appetizer…but they nailed it. You’ll never want a zucchini fry again after these. The deviled eggs were perfect, and I’m REALLY picky about eggs in all forms. The Caesar salad may have been the best I’ve ever had, with a lightness and freshness that most others lack. And the pies…that DOUGH! So good. The char and flavor were perfect. Never knew what bresaola was until eating it on the b&b, and boy was I happy to meet it. Can’t wait to come back to try more pies! The cocktails we tried (lavender haze and applewood old fashioned) were also a delight, and we’re really looking forward to trying the coconut cake and gluten-free chocolate cake we got to go.Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, as was the rest of the staff we encountered. With amazing food, a great laid back feel, awesome staff, warm and welcoming decor (and a really nice restroom to boot), this is definitely the kind of place we will return to often!“

“I usually come to the Franklin Steakhouse & Tavern on Sunday's during the football season. They have a long bar, plenty of TVs, a huge drink menu with beer on tap and weekend specials. This time I came for lunch. I ordered the ribeye sliders ($10.99). It came with three sliders. a festival of French fries and a cup of horseradish. I like my steak medium rare. I do not like steak that I have to fight with because it is too chewy. I like the steak to come out hot. This ribeye was to my liking in all those criteria. The French fries also came out hot and were thick enough to taste the potato. The horseradish could have been less creamy. Add a little more ribeye and this would have been a 5 Star. Service was quick and professional, but it was only about 3 pm. The restaurant is clean with basic simple furniture and chairs. Take a look at my photos. Prices are reasonable and for certain items on the menu, cheap.“

“To start, the food is absolutely delicious here. The unique Korean/French fusion had some interesting and tasty options. Will definitely go back to order things I didnt get to try. Unfortunately, it was evident that they were understaffed (maybe it was just this one night? Things happen). The person who sat us was also the server, food runner, and busser; with all these responsibilities, it was impossible to be as attentive as I know they could have been because they were very sweet and polite. Despite the service, I would still recommend coming here because the quality of food is outstanding.“

“I’m hesitant to even write a review because I consider this place a true hidden gem! With so many options in the area I find myself forgetting about Turtle & Wolf until after my recent visit it sprang to the top of my list!I went for a birthday celebration and my friends and I shared a bunch of dishes. Everything was so well executed, the portions were generous and we just had such a lovely evening. Cannot pass on this adorable BYOB.“

“Visited the Season 52 while traveling to Morris Plains, NJ for work. Went during happy hour which they have from 3-6pm, and the bar was full but they had high top seating open around the bar. The service was quick and the server was delightful. My food was well made and typically this comes with a risotto but I wanted just protein and veggies. It was seasoned well and cooked well too. I'm never disappointed in my time at Season 52.“

“I would give this place ten stars if I could. This place is great. My wife has celiac and they are always attentive to her dietary needs which is a big plus for me. The food is great. Prepared well and really huge portions which is great for me because I'm a big eater. Their veal shop is out of this world along with their skirt steak just to mention a couple of dishes. No matter what you order you can't go wrong. I tried their short rib over pasta and I loved it. I'm not even crazy about short ribs accept when I had them at Robert's Scratch Kitchen. They way he makes those short ribs is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. For the desserts, out of this world. The service is great. Any dietary needs, food allergies they will accommodate with great tasting food. If you want to any substitutions they will accommodate you. Great staff. For ambiance, the place is decorated beautifully. Really classy, and really clean. Can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a great meal and service this is the place for you.“

“Never thought that there is a cool barn in town. My 1st impression was the woodenly rustic environment and decorations bringing the cozy vibe. Food and drinks were perfectly tasty. Our waiter that night was helpful and informative. This spot is voted for one of the most beautiful ones during the Christmas season. Can't wait to come back.“

“Wonderful experience. We had no idea what to order, so Modupe (the owner) surprised us. I only wish I could have eaten more! My daughter who can be picky was so happy with her shrimp and fries that she drew Modupe a picture. Highly recommend!!“

“I have to say I really enjoy The Thirsty Turtle. Although it's a sports bar and you think it might just be cool to watch a game, the food and staff are excellent and professional. We went the other night and met friends for dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The waiter, (I don't remember his name), but he memorized our order and everything came out perfect! We had appetizers, burgers, beer & drinks, and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I also have to call out Manny who went above and beyond in helping me. He is smart and knows how to treat customers. Any establishment should be lucky to have him!“

“New contemporary restaurant with great menu. I stopped in for lunch and had a really good chicken sandwich. Chicken cutlet was fresh, juicy and crispy on a toasted pita with crispy prosciutto , lettuce and tomato and mozzarella. French fries were also fresh and crispy. Also tried an eggplant on focaccia with roasted red peppers and was also very delicious. Everything on the menu sounds good and I might have to go back for the hanger steak. Lots of seating , big bar , lots of TVs. I was there on a Saturday and they only had one waitress waiting on like 4 tables and 6 people at the bar which was fine because we weren’t in a hurry but I could see it getting crazy.“

“I eat at local steak houses Roots and Ruth Chris relatively frequently at least once per month, I wanted to switch up my experience so I searched best steakhouse in New Jersey and this came up. I had no clue how much of a treat I was in for, my father and I sat down for a 3 hour dinner that easily was one of the top meals I have ever had in my life. Sushi here is amazing, the Foxy and Lover Rolls are a must have. All meat products here are high quality and seasoned in a captivating way that will keep me coming back for more. Deserts are plentiful, more on the adventurous side but still amazing, all of their coffee options are also great. The mashed potato rings are a must have! Our waitress Cathy was outstanding in every way, very attentive, and overall a nice person. Everything else aside, and most importantly: the Feathered Fox is CONSISTENT! This establishment is a true hidden treasure. Compliments to the entire service team and chefs at the Feathered Fox.“

“Let me start off by saying I grew up in Philadelphia and ate cheesesteaks regularly ever since I was quite young. I know these folks here are known for their “best of NJ” Taylor Ham ;not pork roll ( almost forgot where I was) and cheese. I’ve had it here before and I do believe it is incredible and stands up to the claims. However… the cheesesteak they make here may not be getting enough love. You should consider it and understand that it could put up a fight with some of the best in Philly. 10/10. Would order again, and again … and again. Also, the guys here are great to chat with.“
“The Smoke Rise inn is the neighborhood's best kept secret This charming building has as much history as it does ambiance It is believed to be a private establishment due to it being behind the Smoke rise community gates but it is open to the public When you walk into the bar area you can't help feeling like you are walking into the tv show cheers Everyone does know your name or will by the time you leave The staff and the usual patrons are extremely friendly and love meeting new folks The bar room is charming with stone and wood walls and a cozy fireplace on the upper seating area There is dining in the gazebo room which is equally as lovely and a bit quieter The food is delicious and the drinks are quite generous The Inn can also accommodate weddings in their ballroom or private parties So if you haven't checked out this fabulous eatery come drop in but make sure you make a reservation on the weekend“

“A real gem! If you’re in the area and would like a breakfast or lunch treat this place is for you! The food, service, cleanliness, immaculate bathroom, ambience all add up to a truly 5 star experience! I just happened to stumble upon it while my car was being repaired and can’t wait to go again. On this trip I had the French toast with freshly squeezed orange juice. I realized half way through I didn’t photograph the meal (which was out of this world) is why it’s half eaten! Note they offered to refill my juice (which was truly fresh squeezed) for free! Hope they open for dinner ?HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“The food here is sooo delicious!! Tried it tonight with my husband and we highly recommend it. The sandwich bread is perfect (usually my husband is super picky about that) and they’re super generous with the portions. We got the Oreo milkshake too and omg it was so yummy. Try it!! 10/10. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.“

“I like Maggie’s now. They’ve updated the menu. I got the ginger sesame orange salad it was delicious. Next time I won’t get shrimp on it because it was too big. I thought it would be popcorn shrimp. I do like the option of adding protein like chicken. The place is always packed and very loud though. Don’t get the fish and chips, not great. Probably better for takeout.Dietary restrictions: They make changes to your order if you request it.“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“

“Looks like a very regular Chinese takeout at first glance, but that’s where it stops. Food here is so good. Not the greasy, soggy basic, Chinese takeout you’d expect. Food tastes super fresh and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!“

We tried several, and seriously each one was SOOO GOOD!!! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was absolutely phenomenal as well! One of the best meals I've had in some time, from start to finish! They even had live music upstairs, which was such a nice surprise! Can't wait for our next trip back!!! “I visited Just Jake’s on a Friday evening for a live band performance and had a good time. There are no waiters, tables or chairs, just a big dance floor near the stage and a bar so everybody was dancing and having fun. There was a $8 cover charge and the price of the drinks were reasonable. Staff was friendly and it was easy and quick to get drinks.“

“Harvest Bistro is absolutely incredible! This has been a favorite lunch spot of ours for years. We also recently worked with them to cater my son's baptism party and we were so impressed. Every single guest commented on how delicious the food was. Several people even told us it was the best food they had ever had from a caterer. Tushar is so helpful and easy to work with too. We'll definitely be going back to Harvest Bistro for all of our future parties!“
“I wish our daughter wasn’t our youngest child so we could throw another bat mitzvah at 4Sixty6!!! Everything was perfect! Your staff, your coordination, the food - everything exceeded our expectations! It really was a magical night. Thanks again for everything and it really was a pleasure working with all of you.“
“The best place for lunch near the Rutgers-Newark campus on weekdays! The restaurant has a great cause and serves delicious three-course meals for only $12. The three courses are appetizer (choice between salad and soup), main (two different protein options and one vegetarian option), and dessert (choice between a bakery item and fruit). I have been to the restaurant several times since opening a few years ago, and the food has been excellent every time that I have been there. The only minor drawback is that the location is only open for weekday lunch between 11:30 am and 2 pm.“

“We joined some family* here for lunch today. The bldg and the grounds were lovely looking. The inside has both banquet rooms for private events as well as a family feel bar and dining area. We were seated right away and the server was very prompt and friendly. Menu although not that large had a good variety. From appetizers and soups to full on entrees there was plenty to choose from. They had several specials to offer today. They are known for the burgers apparently. My aunt and husband both had the Swiss Mountain Burger. Both enjoyed them. Although the cooking between them was a bit different. My husband's was a bit pink IMO but he likes rare so didn't really care. My daughter enjoyed the penne and meatballs from the dedicated kids menu. It came with a drink and dessert. The portion was hearty and she loved the meatball! Dinner rolls on the table were amazing. Mini chibatta style that were crusty in the outside and soft and chewy in the inside. My uncle had the chicken cashew salad. Large salad although looked like only iceberg as the base. Overall filled with plenty of toppings. I enjoyed one of the salmon specials for today. I chose the grilled lemon pepper salmon. All entrees like this are served with either rice or potato and veggies. I had mashed which were very creamy and flavorful. The salmon had good flavor but IMO was cooked just a little too long. It was flaky but the edges seemed a little dry. Overall I'd recommend it but suggest asking for a medium cook. They offered a dessert menu although everyone was full and decided on just some specialty coffee. Most dishes were in the $15-25 range. Overall I'd recommend giving it a try. *Sorry for the lack of pics we were so excited to see our out of town family that I totally forgot!“

“The Highlawn made my twin daughters’ B’Mitzvah a huge success. The place and view are spectacular, the food is outrageous, and Gianna who booked us and Jose the banquet manager were so accommodating and flexible. They bent over backwards to answer all my questions and make my vision happen. The party was amazing and the guests are still calling to tell me how amazing The Highlawn was. Such a great experience working with such professionals!!!!I would recommend The Highlawn for any party, large or small!“

“The food was very good. I order a burger and fries and the hat kitchen sampler which was very very good. I recommend the latter with what ever you order. The crowd was mixed age and very friendly. The bar maid could have been a little more attentive to my order request as that was my first time there, you know what they say about first impressions. The music was on point. There's also two pool tables and a dart board for your pleasure. An for those who partake there are hookah pipes available too.Suggestion to the owner place a message on the answering machine stating time and days of operation. I almost didn't go because no one answered the phone as I'm not from the neighborhood but I took a chance glad I did. If ever I found myself in orange again I will surely stop by for a bite and to whip some tail on the pool table. LOL!!!“

“Summary: Authentic regional Chinese food with slow service. Great soup dumplings for NJ. Of note: - Spicy is definitely spicy. - It'd be best to place your order as soon as your are seated if possible--it's often so busy here that it may take some time for a waiter to take your order. - They have soup dumplings, but the English menu uses a different name (possibly steamed pork buns), which some of the waiters are not familiar with. Recommend ordering in Chinese or simply showing the waiter the Chinese name (å°ç± 包). Long form: I've been to this restaurant over a dozen times in the past two years. The food quality is generally high. They've dropped the ball occasionally (popped soup dumplings, wet sticky rice, and inconsistent amounts of tofu and ingredients in the salted tofu milk), but they've been getting better. The service is a little slow as they're very popular and often seem a tad understaffed. Recommended items: Soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, scallion pancakes, and the salted soybean milk. Stay away from: The restaurant also offers a fried pumpkin cake, but when we ordered, it was sadly so drenched in oil that it was essentially inedible. A knowledge of Chinese is extremely helpful for two reasons: 1. Some of the translations on the menu are rather bad and poorly proofread. What is an "exploding oil sheet?" Even Google Translate works better. Don't be afraid to ask questions though! The staff is friendly. 2. Some of the staff also appear to be unfamiliar with the alternative English names for their dishes. We witnessed a table try to order soup dumplings, only to be told by the waiter that they didn't have soup dumplings, but they had pork buns. The restaurant absolutely does have soup dumplings on the menu, but under a different name.“
