“A great place to celebrate my son's birthday! We ordered the Party Tray which was perfect for 4 people. We took a Bay, so we ate and then golfed! Service was great! Even the Chef and Manager came out and asked if everything was to our liking! It is a wonderful place if you just want to wind down from your days work! Many huge TVs if you just want to watch sports and eat and have a drink! Thank you for making our celebration amazing!!!

“I had the pork cutlet today and it was just amazing. The cutlet is breaded and surrounded by a downright tasty combination of seasoning and fried to golden brown perfection in such a fashion that your taste buds will be forever mystified, just as mine have been for about a year or so now since I discovered this gem while traveling down US-46 on essential business. Everything I have had from here is so delicious. Go there as soon as you can because it’s really really good.”

The Refresh Pilsner was one of the best Pilsner’s I’ve had in Jersey. It’s tucked in a strip mall that’s a little difficult to find. This is definitely a beer head’s brewery, not with the frills but great with the beer.”

“Best ice cream shop in Essex County if not the entire state of NJ. You can taste the difference in quality, creaminess, ingredients, no artificial flavors. Small micro batches made with natural ingredients and real flavors. Great owner and staff. Very nice people who go above and beyond to help create a wonderful experience. Small space but the flavor is large. They are getting ready to launch their second storefront in Lyndhurst. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. Favorite flavors include: Strawberry Baklava Chocolate But all are incredibly good!”

“I just had one plain slice. I would say it was average in taste and I think it had a bit too much sauce. The slice was very large so it's a deal at under $4. The service was quick and there were plenty of tables.”

“As I’m seated in the dining room I’m greeted by the conversation of two older Italian couples having a lovely dinner out. It’s like a scene from Goodfellas or The Soprano’s. The guys are busting each other’s chops, the wives are finishing the husband’s sentences, they are regulars and know everyone. This is a good first sign.

I order the chicken parmigiana which comes with a side of pasta or a salad. I go for spaghetti and also add a side Caesar salad and a Diet Coke.

The salad was delivered quickly and was average in flavor. The only complaint I have about this experience is that the salad plate was warm.

The chicken parm was beautiful in appearance, perfectly cooked, extremely tasty, and very well proportioned. I made sure to use the rolls to sop up all the sauce.

After the salad and chicken I was stuffed so I took the spaghetti back to the hotel and consumed it the next morning for breakfast. It was delicious as well.

Service was friendly, efficient and everything made this a great meal.

If in the area again I’d definitely return.

“This place was pretty awesome... Unexpected little find, busy but the servers kept up, didn't know there would be like music and the band was awesome. The crowd was older and the house catered to that... Not a "kids bar." They have an outside area that I imagine is open in better weather. Packaged beer to buy also. Good beers.”

“Had the opportunity to go in last week and holy carp, I cannot wait to go back. If you get any cookie dough, I suggest eating it raw at room temperature. Where else can I walk in and hear the soundtrack to the Godfather and hear an ongoing debate about who the bad guys were in that movie! I'll find my way back there, you heard it from me!!”

“Not 100% sure what style of food this is but it was delicious. The service is great and the staff friendly. I dropped in for a sandwich as I thought it was a deli but found that there was a staff-served buffet offering. The choice I made was white rice, yuca, and broiled chicken thighs. The aluminum container was jam packed with food. Enough for two meals. $14 with a large bottle of water. I took the dish to go.

I will definitely go back and try other dishes now that I understand how this place works and the food style offered.

Every morning I come in and my everything bagel with Taylor ham cheese and tomatoes is already done in the bag waiting for me. I'm in and out in less than 3 minutes every time I go.
