“We recently had my daughter’s baby shower at the Mediterranean Grill, and honestly we could not be happier with everything! The place is elegant, light, and absolutely beautiful! Tom, the manager, was professional from start to finish and thorough with every detail. He was very flexible with the time of the shower, the menu, and even the personalised theme cake. The food quality and food options were great-especially the penne vodka! The staff could not have been more attentive, and the entire event ran effortless and care free, allowing us to enjoy our daughter’s shower.Many of our guests commented just how much they enjoyed the place and the food. I can’t wait to visit again for dinner! I highly recommend The Mediterranean Grill for an event or for dinner!“
“The service is top notch, the food was spot on, and the place is your typical Jersey restaurant. The staff are all friendly and the host Gail is amazing. We happen to be here on a Saturday evening, and they were having an even in the bar area so after dinner we headed there and partied out until 1:30 in the morning. Great place!! Luckily, we had a room in the adjacent Best Western. Love this Best Western because it is convenient, and they have room service from this restaurant.“
“We visited The West Essex Diner on a bustling Sunday morning, arriving around noon. Despite the crowd, we were seated within a brief 10-minute wait, which was understandable given the rush. However, the dining experience left much to be desired. I ordered a classic breakfast featuring sunny-side-up eggs with a side of steak and home fries, accompanied by toast and coffee. My friend opted for a western omelet paired with French toast. Disappointingly, the French toast lacked powdered sugar, and despite requesting jelly, our waiter seemed to disappear.The food, unfortunately, was rather lackluster, lacking any distinctive flavor or appeal. While the service was initially prompt, our waiter was notably absent after serving our meals, only reappearing when we requested the check. It was then that he offered more coffee, but by that point, I was already ready to leave. Overall, the experience felt ordinary, and the food failed to surpass what I could have easily prepared at home with more flavor.“
“We kept passing this and knowing a bit of Japanese wanted to check out this bar. It worked out wel,l will come back, when we go to Target. Bar is right on the Passaic in Little Falls.Parking: Pub is small and right next to a small parking lot but I doubt if parking is going to be problematicWheelchair accessibility: I use a rollator and was able to use this pub.“
“I usually come to the Franklin Steakhouse & Tavern on Sunday's during the football season. They have a long bar, plenty of TVs, a huge drink menu with beer on tap and weekend specials. This time I came for lunch. I ordered the ribeye sliders ($10.99). It came with three sliders. a festival of French fries and a cup of horseradish. I like my steak medium rare. I do not like steak that I have to fight with because it is too chewy. I like the steak to come out hot. This ribeye was to my liking in all those criteria. The French fries also came out hot and were thick enough to taste the potato. The horseradish could have been less creamy. Add a little more ribeye and this would have been a 5 Star. Service was quick and professional, but it was only about 3 pm. The restaurant is clean with basic simple furniture and chairs. Take a look at my photos. Prices are reasonable and for certain items on the menu, cheap.“
“I have to say this place is top-notch phenomenal ?. I was here with my family for my birthday and Jon was our server. To start we ordered the wings and Burrata as appetizers OMG delicious. For entrees, we ordered the Tomahawk for my husband and I with hand-cut fries and brussel sprouts and my daughter ordered the Boneless Ribeye with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Every single dish tasted like homemade. For dessert, we had the Tres leches and Tiramisu. Tres leches wasn't too sweet and Tiramisu was on point. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious steak.????? stars in my book ?“
