Happy hour is always a great value and the mixup of seasonal cocktails means you often have something new to try, pair that with food and your in for a good cozy night out. Highly recommend and Dan and Caitlyn in the bar are fantastic and the whole staff is so attentive and ready to help!“

“This place is truly one of the best parts of Rockaway. I work at the doctor's office up the street from it and we order take out a lot. They serve all the classic bar favorites to perfection! The juicy burgers are fresh and absolutely fantastic...and OMG the cheesesteak is AWESOME!!!!! But what really makes this place standout are the people behind all of it. Bridgett, the owner, is genuinely one of the loveliest and most accommodating people you'll ever meet. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell that she puts her heart into the place. She will personally deliver our food to our office every single time because we are so busy. And Myles deserves a huge shout-out. That man can cook a burger like nobody else, and the cheesesteak he puts out is honestly next-level! You can taste the care and skill in every bite of it. It's disappointing to see a few unfair reviews floating around, because they don't reflect the real experience here. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly GREAT people. “We went last night to celebrate NYE at Rosie's... the food was delicious, however we did not get our dinner until 10:45. We arrived at 8:30. In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.“

“We went to McKenna’s Pub to get drinks and play pool for my daughter’s birthday today. It was really a great experience and I’m so glad we found it!! The bartender Billy was so welcoming and went above and beyond for us. The other guests were also very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. Even though I lost at pool, McKenna’s Pub will definitely be a go to for us in the future!!“

“This bar is like home to me. I absolutely love the staff, the cooks and all of the regular’s It’s like going to cheers.

I want to add that I had my husband’s 50th birthday party there and they did an outstanding job making it happen. Karen and Sam Made some amazing food and they were so attentive to my guests. The bartenders, Kyle and Jo Jo Rocked it they made amazing drinks and Kept them coming to the birthday boy the Whole day.

But what’s even more special and means the world to me is that the staff that was not working that day came to hang out and help me set up and enjoy my husband’s 50th with us. Literally, family, and good friends at this bar. If you’re looking for a local bar to frequent to get good food, drinks and make outstanding friendships. I highly recommend you come down and see Dave, Denise, JoJo, Kim, Kyle, Elaine and Alison. Heck, you’ll probably meet me too. I’m the girl with the bow. That’s always at the bar.“

This is what Karl Marx and other less aggressive socialists wrote about. This is a place where we can all come together despite your socioeconomics, education, or any other dividing factors and just be. Amazing. “Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“I have lived in the area for over 20 years, and I had no idea this spot existed inside the Hanover Marriott—even though it’s been here for 26 years! I was very pleasantly surprised when I finally walked in. The decor and ambiance are fantastic; you can really tell the woodwork and furnishings were crafted in Ireland, shipped over, and reassembled to create a genuinely authentic pub atmosphere.
The service from Michael was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was very good as well, making it an ideal venue for a quiet business lunch. I will definitely be back soon, and I am looking forward to trying it out on the weekend for a date night!“

“We decided to go to Charlie’s to listen to music on a Sunday afternoon. Headed straight out to where the band was playing. Inside was about 15 people watching soccer and baseball games and drinking/eating. A server took an order from a table near us, not acknowledging us. About 10 people outside. After ten minutes I went inside asked for a menu and ordered two drinks. She told me someone would be out to take order for food. Another ten minutes went by. I went back in and ordered. There were at least four staff members inside, It wasn’t that busy. Our drinks were good, food was good and music was nice.
It’s too bad the service was lacking , it didn’t have to be. If they were more attentive, people outside would have ordered more drinks because it was warm.“

this one was my favorite! the italian in me loves garlic lol. just so many flavors is was very good.

we had enough chips to eat all the guacs :) great choices!

chicken taquitos- my favorite! crispy and juicy chicken. they put a mix of green salsa verde and creamy chipotle sauce. has a kick but not bad. i did take off the onion because i didn't want onion. which i didn't know they put it on so i'll say no onion next time.

rice and beans were very flavorful. love the cilantro and cheese on top. nice size too.

chips were very good as well. crispy and not oily. but very salty. i have to be honest. next time i need to ask if they have unsalted chips. sometimes its too much. but over all everything was perfect and staff was very friendly too.“
