“Run don't walk to this place. We wish came here sooner. It has been our summer go to this year. The nachos are to absolutely die for! Drinks are delicious. Bartenders are sooooo sweet!! 10/10 perfect spot for some outdoor drinks, and a beautiful view. Oh it's raining? No problem. Darts and shuffleboard downstairs and a huge TV. I cannot rave about this place enough and have told anyone willing to listen about it ?“

“Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening. Lots of menu options to choose from on the catering menu (the wings are a must!) as well as flexible bar pricing packages to fit any occasion. It's truly a welcoming place that is always on my short list of options for a quick cold one, lunch or heck the whole evening! I'm already looking forward to the next Game Room social! Thank you again Team Charley's!!!“

“My husband and I started going couple weeks ago. We were greeted by mimi the owner and the bartender was so personable. We started with calamari, wings, tacos. I got the owl salad and my husband got pasta. Everything was amazing. We made this our every Sunday thing. This past Sunday we brought my in-laws and sister in law and her boyfriend. My in laws got the short ribs, my sister in law got owl burger and my husband got fish and chips. Myself got salmon. Everything was again amazing as this will be our Sunday family day. Rob the other owner is the chef as he told us that he was in Vegas as chef. Best place around. And then small world we went to elementary school together. Please give them a try you won’t regret it promise.“

“Bridget’s smash burger with side salad is outta this world! This bar is the closest thing to a Key West bar experience you can find in North Jersey. All are welcome and all get along. Very chill and highly recommended.“

“Garry, Olivia, Kasey, and staff are always on point. Incredible service and welcoming always, the portions are huge and absolutely delicious. Great drink menus, food menus, and amazing desserts always. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, great place to have a party or host your special occasions here. Great catered food as well, so check them out for that as well. Highly recommend! Check out Cinders, you won’t regret it.“

“Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.

“This is literally the divvy-est bar in all of NJ. Possibly America.I was shocked to find soap in the bathroom tbh. But it was amazing. This place is where dreams are made. This is what Karl Marx and other less aggressive socialists wrote about. This is a place where we can all come together despite your socioeconomics, education, or any other dividing factors and just be. Amazing. I’d give this place 6 out of 5 stars.Also, karaoke every other week.“
“Friendly old school bar. Mix of young and older patrons. Pool table, karaoke on Friday nights. Special events outside during the summer. Great bartenders. Owner is a pillar of the community supporting local businesses and holding charity events.“

“Excellent food and beer options. The bartenders are very friendly and you also have the bowling alley in the same building so it’s pretty rad. Build your own burger ? or sandwich is awesome. Definitely recommend the Mac n cheese with crispy chicken!“
