Alice's Reviews
The Chicken sandwich with a side house salad was delish! Our server was great! My friend had many GF choices which she also ordered extra meals to take home, but was disappointed that the GF cheese cake bar was removed from the summer menu. We had a wonderful lunch, great visit and open air view, thanks to the team at @Alices's!
The restaurant, food, and service were all very good. The drinks were a little overpriced, and I didn't like that they served cocktails at the bar in plastic cups, especially since we're all adults. Other than that, everything was delicious and we had a very good experience.
We had a lovely celebration with friends, outside with beautiful view, Josh our server was attentive and personable. The food was fantastic!

Alice's is a nice restaurant overlooking a lake with stunning views of Lake Hopatcong and its surrounding community. It features a fun bar scene, good drinks, and great service. Guests can enjoy an interesting variety on the menu, including great choices like totchos, pretzel bites, fish tacos, and pulled pork. Vegetarian options such as blackened cauliflower and crispy tofu are also recommended. The food is fresh, well cooked, and tasty, served quickly by an awesome and attentive staff. Although the kitchen could be faster at times, the overall service enhances the dining experience.
The exterior and location right off the lake add to its charm, making it a popular spot. Visitors enjoy starting with a cocktail in the big fish lounge before dinner, and the outdoor seating provides pleasant summer nautical vibes, although being seated behind the sliding door might not be ideal. Some guests have mentioned that the bread comes with an additional $4 charge, which may not be worth it. It is advisable for diners to be mindful that the restaurant can be busy, and reservations might be needed to avoid waiting. Improvements suggested include offering whipped butter instead of packets for the bread basket, and a more efficient kitchen would enhance the overall experience.
