“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!“

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“To be fair, my rating is over 4. It's more like a 4.6 since 1 of us 6 mentioned a slight negative about the flavor of her chicken. And our per person cost was about $50. I expected that, but that's okay. The sights outside were very nice. The grandchildren enjoyed themselves which is a plus. If you have a boat, you can actually dock it at the Windlass and order a meal. They also have several cabana looking coverings along the dock which can be reserved so you can enjoy your meal there. My wife noticed that the seating can glide forward and back.“

“I invited my friends for lunch the other day and we had a fantastic time! Talk about atmosphere, Alice’s Restaurant sits high up on a hill, overlooking Lake Hopatcong. What a view on a gorgeous day! We had our starters and drinks which everyody loved. Dante was our server and he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly what we wanted. An added topping, extra sauce, rare, medium, it’s going to come out perfectly. We are looking forward to coming back!“

“We had our small wedding at Andre's this past weekend, and I am still in awe of how fantastic the event was. Tracey is an all-star. From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. I can't recommend Andre's enough, and we will certainly be returning for a meal!“

“The Great Wazu is the reason small businesses are the HEART of a community. I am a soon-to-be small business owner myself. I walked in this place tonight like I do every 1-2 weeks to get dinner. Sara behind the counter has gotten to know me and ALWAYS remembers my order. Tonight, she asked me what was new, and I told her I had been upset all day worrying about all the stuff I have on my plate right now getting my business ready to open. She was the sweetest. When I reached for my credit card, she told me my order was on her and gave me a hug and said, "You got this." It was one of the most human experiences I've ever had, and I just want everyone to know how special this place is. It's not just the sandwiches. It's the kindness.“

“The food was excellent! We got kimchi mandu, kimchi fried rice, sweet and spicy wings, and seafood tofu soup. The kimchi is made in house and the pickled chayote was amazing. The owner was very nice and it was a great time I highly recommend.“

“Finally, we stopped in for take-out dinners. Had a lovely chat with owners while waiting. At home,we discovered the best finger licking food. Every morsel was sooooo good. The humus never should be missed for any meal. Chicken thighs and beef are very savory. Dill dip fresh and cooling where the hot dip was unique and very enjoyable. The Mediterranean 'rice' has a savory finish. Everyone was raving how much we enjoyed our meal. The plan is to let relatives experience a sitdown dinner in the dining room which has a lovely atmosphere. Everthing is very clean and neatly arranged. We are making this jem a regular dinner option. Lamb is my next dinner experience.“

“We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

The food was fantastic, and they were so helpful setting up the order by suggesting quantities and making sure we got everything that would make the group happy. I was told by them that one of our party orders got slightly messed up last minute, but offered quick close alternatives. It took them an extra half hour to make the new dish. Was it the dish I wanted originally? No. but did they do their absolute best to make sure that my party wasn’t ruined? Absolutely! and that’s what matters at the end of the day. And they handed me the food that got slightly messed up PLUS the new dish.
