“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again“

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“I live in Sparta and I visited for the first time yesterday for brunch with my friend, and Alice's did not disappoint. I was not aware we needed a reservation but they were able to get us in anyway which I appreciated after driving all the way there. I am a vegan and I struggle with finding places locally that accommodate that isn't plain avocado toast. I was so impressed when I saw vegan french toast on the brunch menu. To top it off, it was DELICIOUS. We also got mimosas and bellinis and our server was always checking on us and we never felt rushed. The views are also beautiful. I will continue coming back, and tell everyone I know. Thank you Alice's for being a fresh of breath air with the menu that accommodates all.“

“I hired them for my 40th birthday party in June. From being out of state and hosting the party in New Jersey, it was already stressful enough to find a caterer and food that would be good quality without ever tasting it. From the beginning, they made me feel very confident that they would produce a good product. They arrived nice and early prior to the party set up a great barbecue and I got nothing but compliments about the taste of the food. I would definitely use them again.“

“We celebrated a milestone birthday in the dining area next to the terrace with delicious food and great service. The bar had a large selection of beer, wine had a dozen options, plus mixed drinks. The staff let me taste a couple beers before I chose one to go with my calamari appetizer which was very large and well prepared. I do think the standout appetizer was the tuna which had an amazing citrus flavor. For my main I had the sea bass while most of the others had streaks. I thought it was delicious and the rice delicious. Maybe a tad too much butter for me, but no complaints. I skipped desert but the chocolate cake and apple tarts looked amazing. Service was top notch, my water glass was consistently filled and the staff present but not too much so. A great late afternoon dining experience.“

“The Beacon was so accommodating since I planned my entire wedding dinner within a month. I needed as few headaches as possible. Edna coordinated everything! The staff was very polite and attentive. Everyone LOVED the food and atmosphere. I will be coming in regularly to try the other dishes on the menu and maybe a little line dancing.“
