“We ate here for my son's 11th birthday. The hostesses greeted us with pleasant smiles. Our waitress, Liz was very polite and accommodating. Our food was well prepared delicious and a gracious portion size. At the end of our meal Liz brought out a delicious brookie topped with ice cream in celebration of my son's birthday. The menu is a delightful surprise, catering to all tastes. “Fun place on a weekend with live music and outdoor dining. Ordered a margarita burger one day for lunch and it had no basil and no marinated tomatoes. Just lettuce and sliced tomato with mozzarella / If the owner or manager is reading this - please don’t sell that hamburger without basil & marinated tomato because it just becomes a basic cheeseburger with mozzarella instead of American that’s costs more. I would’ve preferred the regular cheeseburger if I was aware the basil and marinated tomato were not available!“

“I went for the very first time for New Jersey Deathfest and found it to be the ideal venue for hard-core and metal. The sound is actually top notch and the staff is very friendly. The gritty decor and atmosphere is very reminiscent of a lot of the noteworthy DIY venues I used to go to in NYC during the 90's for metal and hardcore shows which made it all the more nostalgic for me. I would definitely return here for another show in the future.“

“I eat here every week with a big group and the food is always delicious. I like to order the chili nachos, and it's perfect for sharing. They are also very accommodating with allergies and have promptly answered questions about allergy content. The servers are very friendly and it's always very lively. Even outside of my group I like to take friends here. Parking is a bit tricky but it's worth it even if you have to park on the side of the road. Highly recommend!“

I want to add that I had my husband’s 50th birthday party there and they did an outstanding job making it happen. Karen and Sam Made some amazing food and they were so attentive to my guests. The bartenders, Kyle and Jo Jo Rocked it they made amazing drinks and Kept them coming to the birthday boy the Whole day.

But what’s even more special and means the world to me is that the staff that was not working that day came to hang out and help me set up and enjoy my husband’s 50th with us. Literally, family, and good friends at this bar. If you’re looking for a local bar to frequent to get good food, drinks and make outstanding friendships. “Tucked away behind the Main Street we stumbled upon this excellent restaurant. We ordered Spring rolls and a Japanese thingy for starter, both were really good. For mains it was Beef and Ginger and Prawn Fried Rice, again both excellent. So for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 drinks it came to 58 euros, even excellenter ?…music choice was a bit different in that it was dance oriented but wasn’t out of place. “I’ve been to The Side Door before, but I’ve never had a bartender like Crystal. She is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had! I originally stopped by for just one quick birthday drink, but her friendly personality, great energy, and amazing service convinced us to stay much longer than we planned. We ended up spending way more than we expected, and it was worth every penny because she made the whole experience so much fun.

I was honestly surprised to find out she’s a new bartender here because she made it feel like she’d been doing it for years. She was attentive, welcoming, and knew exactly how to keep the good vibes going.

“Just moved here from Hawai'i and I was so excited to live right next to this bar.

Ambience: An intimate space with a pool table, darts, and a great DJ playing the slaps! Great place to watch NFL games for sure!
Service: The female bartender was so nice and attentive. She even gave us free shots before we left, and I will absolutely be back because of that!
Drinks: We ordered a screwdiver and a whiskey sour, which were super strong but still drinkable. I also ordered kamikaze shots, which were very yummy!
