Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. “The hospitality is incredible. After living in nyc for 8+ years and eating out at a lot of Italian spots, this is one of my top restaurants now and a go to. The Dover is incredible and the short rib is magical. They have incredible wine by the glass options - super Tuscan was our pick. Ask for the dessert wine that is has apricot and peach tones. Highly recommend and they can accommodate for large private dining with some sectioned off parts of the restaurant!

Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! We sat at the bar for about a half hour and we each got a drink while we waited for our game to start. My girlfriend had Lime in the Coconut Collins and I had Paradise Love. Both drinks were good. They have a very easy to use coat check too. There are a total of 9 courses and each one is unique making for an exciting game of indoor mini golf! There are also servers who walk around and take your drink order and plentiful of convenient stations to set your drinks on while you play and wait for the party ahead of you.“

“I can’t believe we’re only finding this spot now. Tara Mor is officially a new favorite for us.

We hosted a corporate Paint by the Pints event here after a friend recommended we check it out, and we were genuinely blown away by every part of the experience. The private spaces are perfect for events, and we were in the Record Room decorating vinyl records for the night’s activity. The space felt custom-made for our activity.

Planning with Steph and the team was completely seamless. They were on top of every detail, so helpful from start to finish, and made the whole process easy. On the day of the event, the staff were lovely, not only with our team, but with all of our guests too.

We also pre-ordered from the platter menu, and the food was incredible. The quality was excellent, the portions were generous, and everything went down so well. The sliders were genuinely dreamy. The real sign of how good the food was? Guests were delighted to take leftovers home for lunch the next day, so the staff helped us with to-go boxes and we packed up sandwiches and salads. There was so much food, and none of it went to waste.

A special shoutout to Caoilfhionn, Jason, Kaitlin, Moyra, and the rest of the Tara Mor team for being so attentive and helpful throughout the event, including jumping in with tech support to make sure all of our computers were connected ahead of time.

All in all, we cannot wait to return. Tara Mor feels like a new home away from home in the heart of New York City, just a short walk from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and everything else nearby. Highly recommend for private events, corporate gatherings, or honestly just a great night out.“

My husband had a smash burger that looked good but my turkey club was excellent. Made me wonder why it’s been so many years since I had a turkey club. Patt was our server and she made the whole experience even better. She was super kind, patient with our questions, and gave really solid recommendations. She checked on us just enough and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
