“I have been coming here for years. I consider myself a good cook but when I need good food that I don't have to prepare, this is my go-to place. The staff and owner are great! Try the stuffed peppers, Chicken Milanese and Lasagna. OMG!“

We've been here just a couple of times but our last few visits were tended by Nadean, an absolute delight! Im a super picky eater and tend to have a lot of special requests, but my girl makes me feel like a regular person - no irritation and my order always comes out perfect
The only reason for i pulled a star was because we were sat by the kitchen and my boyfriend is sound sensitive, so the constant dish clattering was rough for him
Maybe consider a sound barrier between the tables and the kitchen, at least by the sink?

“We’ve come to St. Eves for dinner several times over the past few years, and we’ve always loved the food and the atmosphere, so when it came time to celebrate my birthday, hosting a party in their private room was an easy choice. I’m so glad we did!

“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“Just had brunch at White Maple Cafe. This place has such a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, in the middle of the lovely town of Ridgewood. We had the chicken wings, short rib benedict, and sandwiches. All the food is extremely high quality, delicious, and tastes like it was made with love! The owner Maryam is the most kind, welcoming, and caring host, as well as a great barista! I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Support this business - they deserve all the love!“

“What a cute place for lunch. My daughter and I had lunch after visiting a local POI. We both enjoyed our meals at an outside table. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely go back. They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.“

“I'll be honest - I had pretty low expectations given my picky NYC taste buds but this place DELIVERS. The food is rich in flavor, plated like Gordon Ramsay is waiting with a camera crew, and very family friendly. I have a 4 year old and 2.5 year old, and it was so easy with them. There's a huge lawn for them to expend energy and it's in a very quiet little enclosure so it's very safe. The staff are very nice - like they could easily be kindergarten teachers. Definitely adding this spot into my weekly ventures. I almost didn't even wanna leave the review so it remains a hidden gem but they deserve all the business and then some. Thank you!“

“Slid in right before closing — not exactly the ideal way to walk into a wine bar. But the bartender welcomed us like we'd been regulars for years. That kind of warmth at the end of a long shift says a lot about a place.
The wine was excellent. Exactly what you want from a spot like this — well-curated, well-poured, no complaints.
Didn't get to try the food this time but it's already on the list for next visit. If the kitchen matches the hospitality, this place is going to be a regular stop.

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “We haven't been in a couple of years. We had our daughter's wedding at the Hilton in 2022 and the food was always excellent. We especially remember one of their signature dishes , the short ribs. I don't know if it was a bad night, they changed the recipe or changed the chef, but it was nothing like we remembered. Too bad, very disappointing.“
