For my Rockland friends, I highly recommend Roost. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Every course was amazing with great presentation and great service. Can’t say enough how much I enjoyed it.
The food is fresh and delicious and the presentations are impressive. Michelle at the hostess stand and reservation specialist was friendly and accommodating and lovely. Definitely worth checking out and coming
Just go. If you want an amazing food experience from start to finish this is your spot. It’s a hidden gem in sparkill! We’ve been going since it’s original location- equally as amazing- but I love the changes they made to the menu and the ambiance truly reflects the creativity in the cuisine. Literally everything we’ve had there is 10/10. We’ve recommended so many people and they too quickly became raving fans:)

Roost Restaurant and Union Arts Center is a charming restaurant in Sparkhill with a cool vibe and modern nostalgic feel. The ambience is warm, inviting, and very nice, with nice decor. The service is friendly, with a very attentive support staff. The food is fresh, delicious, and consistent. Popular appetizers include bread service from Balthazar, Shrimp with Plantains, Calamari, smoked fish platter, and delicious mussels with chorizo and jalapeño. Entrees like the New York strip, fresh pasta with Maine lobster, roast chicken, and specials like the 21-day dry aged ribeye and lobster burrito are described as amazing and off the charts. The quality of meats is always fresh, with sides and sauces to accompany. Desserts and drinks are also great. The upstairs event space is perfect for parties, with stunning art, a bar, and tables. Roost is a Sparkill Staple and a favorite restaurant in the Rockland Area.
