“We’ve been to Baleadas Supreme many times, and the food is consistently delicious. The baleadas are outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and some of the best we’ve had. The combo meals are generously portioned, so be prepared to take some home because there’s a lot of food!
Service can be a little slow at times, especially when they’re busy, but don’t let that discourage you. This place is truly a hidden gem. Conveniently located close to Staten Island, they consistently deliver fresh, authentic, and delicious Honduran food. If you’re looking for great Honduran cuisine, Baleadas Supreme is definitely worth a visit.“

“Took my mom to lunch to her favorite spot today. Shes the one that actually put me on to this place. I’ve been here a few times so i figured it was finally time to give it an honest review. This place is amazing, everything on the menu is insanely filling. I usually can DEMOLISH 3 pupusas but I be STRUGGLING HERE.“

“We came a Thursday afternoon, the service was great and the food choices were top tier. I didn’t know what to order. We settle with the Pastelitos and Carne Asada since we were in a bit of a rush. Food was amazing full of flavor. We will definitely be coming back. The Horchata was AMAZING! That alone will have me coming back.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Honduran food in Jersey City, Gordo’s Kitchen Restaurant on West Side Avenue is one of those local spots that’s easy to recommend. I stopped in for takeout breakfast, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The portions were generous, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients.
The service was friendly, my order was ready quickly, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Whether you’re craving a traditional Honduran breakfast, baleadas, pupusas, or just want to support a great local restaurant in Jersey City, this place is definitely worth checking out.
Gordo’s Kitchen has earned a spot on my list of favorite neighborhood restaurants. Great food, fair prices, welcoming staff, and consistently delicious meals. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere near West Side Avenue or New Jersey City University.“

“We ate lunch before the show at the NJ Performing Arts Center. This place was great. Many dishes we’d never heard of. The homemade juices were excellent and unique. The beef soup was great as were the appetizers . Our server helped us learn about their foods. Would happily return“

“The front desk alone is why I give this place 5 stars. Yes, the building and amenities are beautiful, the neighborhood is walkable, clean, and safe but the front desk staff…here, they take the time to know your name and your unit number, they remember small details. The caliber is something I’ve only experienced at the Four Seasons, much less my apartment building. If you’re listening Grey Star, TREAT OUR GUYS WELL!“
