“Might be a Staten Island hidden gem because food here was GOOD. The cold noodles were exactly what my friends and I needed after a long day out in the heat. They also pack the bowl with EXTRA toppings because tell me why three girls barely finished the one bowl. I regretted ordering extra lamb skewers (which tasted delicious) because I was so full from the cold noodles. The salad we ordered was so good too!! My first time trying veal tongue and it did not disappoint.

“Was my very first time trying this establishment & coming in to order inside the store and though I wanted to order so many times online they sell out of Chicken strips extremely fast cause every time I wanted to place an order online the option for chicken strips was always unavailable. So this time I thought let me go inside the store and see if maybe it’s an online error but no I was told that it’s just a very popular option and it goes fast so I gotta order before a certain time. Johnathan was very helpful and informative about all the food and sauces which now I have a few new ideas to try for next time. I absolutely loved the chicken strips and fries that I ordered today. I can see why chicken strips is a popular demand at this location and the sauces are chefs kiss !!!! I tried the soy garlic sauce with my strips & I HIGHLY highly recommend it; as well as Korean BBQ which is definitely another hit just know it’s a little spicy. Big thank you to Johnathan and the other pleasant cook whom were working there today, I really appreciated everything thank you so much for the wonderful customer service I will be a returning customer 110 %!!!“

“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. Thanks kpot for being the first restaurant where I’m actually eating some things that I can enjoy. Highly recommend this place, especially this location. Twenty stars“

“Absolutely incredible team — the owner and her son were so kind and welcoming, and the food was even more incredible! We had two bowls and two orders of gyoza, and everything was absolutely delicious.

The place is super clean, beautifully designed, and you can really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The kimchi was unbelievably good, and you can tell that everything is made with so much love and care.

If we ever come back to New York, we will definitely come here again! We only wish there was a place like this in Austria. ❤

“Kimchi Guys on Newark Ave in Jersey City has a new coffee booth right up front featuring specialty beans from Himig Coffee Roaster in the Philippines. The staff is extremely welcoming and lets you sample the coffee before buying. It is a fantastic spot to grab great food and unique coffee right as you walk in.“

It is a very large space and probably packed with office workers during the work week. Today is Sunday and very quiet. Ample seating up front and different food stations on left and right. Cold drink cases in the back along with the restrooms. I got a blueberry crumb muffin and a bottle of very cold water. Perfect.“
