“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. Thanks kpot for being the first restaurant where I’m actually eating some things that I can enjoy. Highly recommend this place, especially this location. Twenty stars“

Even though I said I would dine in, they put my side dishes in a plastic take-out bag, together with forks and knives for TWO people, as well as no fewer than SIX plastic containers of dip and one of baklava, none of which I had asked for.“

“What a great surprise! After years of visiting Jersey City, I finally decided to check out Boots & Bones. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a great country-style vibe, neon lights, a mini stage, and a spacious bar. We went on a busy night, so service was a little slow, but that's totally understandable given the crowd. We tried the elote, and it was exceptional. I'd go back just for that!

The live band brought incredible energy, playing a solid mix of rock & roll and classic hits. Downstairs was an unexpected bonus, a full club vibe with two bars and a DJ. Such a fun night out!“

Even though I had driven by, I had never pay attention at the restaurant, because on the side street 71 rd ?, there is no name plate on the facade, only on the Queens Blv. side, only when I drove east to west on Queens Blv I noticed the name; I think it should have a name on the side street also, because right now is a long black slab,take it from someone that works in the advertising industry!! I live in the area, and they have always delivered on time, friendly, with great portions, and delicious. as an example, the cheese steak(with everything) is not like a philly cheese, but it is so damn good. “Best BBq for your buck, seasoning is on point. Only only bad thing is if your dining in, since there is no ac you will be very uncomfortable and sweat while you eat which no one wants. Foods amazing, staff is great, just too hot to dine in the summer. In the spring, fall, and winter it's chill just don't recommend eating there in the summer. Please go thought and get take out.

Parking: There's only a few, about 4 spots to park around the restaurant, if those are taken which usually are you must park blocks down the road.“
