“KB’s just catered my daughter’s 3rd birthday and I literally want to plan another party just to serve this food to my friends and family again. Every guest raved about the food! We had ribs, chicken wings, potato salad, baked beans, yams, cornbread and the BEST mac n’ cheese we’ve ever eaten. Additionally they were super friendly and easy to work with and super punctual with delivery. 10 out of 10!“

The only thing they should have is a more varied menu because it's tiring to order almost the same thing ??‍♀️ I know the menu with my eyes closed, they should put more new things to attract more customers.“

“Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! I promise you I'm as picky as they come . But , I was over the moon thrilled . Everything was great . We ate there 3 days in a row before we had to leave to go home . And when we come back to the area we will definitely be eating here everyday again

“Came for takeout. It had just opened and I got an order of the jollof rice and suya. The jollof was good but the suya was great! Plantains were fried to perfection. The staff was so kind.

“McWhorter BBQ is a low key Portuguese bbq spot in the middle of Ironbound. The pork ribs are great the charcoal and saltiness was perfect and the fries were really good. You can’t beat the prices for this area. The service was great and my experience was good but I have one complaint and that is the rice it tasted fishy almost like it was boiled in the same pot as they would boil seafood. If you order fries get a salad or beans on the side and not the rice.“

The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. “We just ordered here for the first time and it was really good. We got a ton of different items and everything was exactly what you would want. The meat was all tender, juicy, flavorful. The food courier was also very nice. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that one of the items we paid for wasn't delivered. The food was so delicious we just didn't bother calling about it because we figured it was just an accident. We plan on ordering here again for sure.“

“Absolutely love the food. I order every week and never get tired of it. But the service of some of the girls are kind of unpleasant. Like today I called and ask for the price of a different item a usually get, and when I told the lady I was going to call back so I can let my mom know the price (she was the ordering) she just hung up on me without even saying “you’re welcome” after I said thank you. Also sometimes when I go there, some of the ladies act like if they don’t want to be there and it’s the customers fault. Most of them are nice tho. And the last thing is that for the first time I ordered during a weekend, and I was charged a different price than the one online. The reason being is because it was a weekend, but I think they should have that in the website do when people order, they’re aware of it. Because going from $22 to $29, is a lot in my opinion.“

“Best fried chicken around. We ordered the 6 piece meal and the pieces are huge. Friendly staff as well. Also tried the fries, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw as sides and can't complain about any of them. The one drawback was the jumbo shrimp was a bit on the salty side. Parking in the back. Pricing is great especially these days. All the food is made to order so be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes if you order there but it's def worth it. They have a high chair as well for those who need one.“

“Have only good things to say about this restaurant. Great service and the food is delicious. I loved their ribs and chicken combo and the picadinho. The other reviews were right about the combo. The portions are big enough for 2 people. They have so many different flavors for the empanadas can't wait to try them all. I had the banana Nutella and the cheese guava and they were so yummy. There are tables both indoors and outdoors and they also deliver. I'm definitely coming back!“

“Everything is good for takeout, they are fast, at most 10 minutes waiting, for an order of 20 dollars they eat up to 3 and it is good and delicious, the problem is when eating at the premises, they charge like 15% for service, it is not convenient.. ..there is no parking, you have to park around it.“

“We needed a BBQ place like this in Orange! BBQ half chicken, with yellow rice and french fries is one of my favorite trays theh carry and within my budget. The fries taste very close to Mcdonald fries! Good food, clean, fast service and spacious sitting area with TV. One thing though is their bbq sauce has high fructose corn syrup and they don't make their hot sauce in house. They also serve coffe and tea, do delivery and accept credit cards. Benjis and Mama Lola watch out!“

“I’d been searching for a BBQ caterer in NJ for a birthday party and feel like I hit the jackpot with Jersey Joe’s. Cindy was helpful and very busy but I was able to place my order after a few days of going back and forth. Everyone at the party was floored by how good the food was! The Alabama chicken wings were delicious and had a nice kick. The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, grateful that they came without bbq sauce so that it could be added as desired. They also included extra sauces when requested which was great. The chopped chicken was tasty. The street corn blew everyone away, it was that good! The potato salad was solid and the cornbread was abundant. The mac and cheese was delish and we’re glad we added the breadcrumbs like the kid delivering the food suggested. Speaking of which, the delivery was the best I have ever experienced. He brought the food in, placed them in the warmers, filled them with water, and lit the sternos. He deserves a raise and promotion for his customer service, I only wish I remember his name. A short walk from 19th st light rail, place is conveniently located right at the corner of 21st street & Broadway Ave. If you like spicy & crispy, spicy original wing is my personal recommendation! “I just wanted to clarify myself to the worker in that restaurant especially the one in the front. We went at the restaurant today around 2pm. We went inside the restaurant and did not talk right away to let them know we were 2 customers, instead I stopped for a second and checked if we went to the right door. The worker in the front thought that we went in there to look for a guy and be with guy and do something. I just wanted to let that worker in the front know that we went there to eat and not to look for a guy. When we finished eating, that worker in the front got replaced with a young guy. I just don’t want the worker in there to think that we went there to look for a guy. We love to go to the church. Now a days, it is very important to do the right thing. We have a song in the church “choose the right.” Don’t judge the people by just physical appearance.
But other than that, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant.“

Nothing out of the ordinary, the chicken sometimes burns too much.The only real complaint is the people who come to eat, they look like animals, they leave everything dirty, throw everything on the floor and sit at uncleaned tables without caring if someone else is waiting for a table.“
