“Have come here 10+ times. especially with my girlfriend and have experienced some of the best vietnamese food i've ever tasted. the price is solid but the food is worth more than the price. Their spring rolls hit the spot everytime and almost every menu item works well. I have tried multiple dishes and can't say i've found one that i didn't enjoy. No matter the time of day or the hour there's always parking and tables open to eat inside. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys food that tastes good“

“Absolutely loved the experience at South of the Clouds! If you’re looking for something beyond typical Chinese food, this place brings authentic Yunnan flavors that are truly unique.
We tried the Yunnan fried stuffed tofu, which was perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, packed with flavor. The traditional Kunming braised noodles were comforting and rich—definitely a must-have. The black truffle fried rice was next-level, super aromatic and indulgent.
The chicken stir-fried noodles were flavorful and well-balanced, and to finish, the fresh coconut cream was refreshing and light—perfect ending to the meal.
The ambiance is cozy and modern, and the service was quick and friendly. Overall, a hidden gem in Jersey City for authentic Chinese cuisine with a twist. Highly recommend!“

“Prince & I feels less like a restaurant and more like being invited into someone’s home for dinner — in the best way possible.
From the moment we walked in, the owner personally seated us and ended up cooking our food himself. He has a quirky, memorable personality that adds to the charm of the whole experience. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the food is made with intention rather than being rushed out of a big commercial kitchen.
The dishes were packed with flavor and tasted very authentic. You can really tell the ingredients and spices are balanced the way Thai food should be — bold, savory, a little spicy, and deeply satisfying. Everything we ordered had great texture and presentation as well.
Overall, it was a unique dining experience with authentic flavors and a memorable host. If you’re looking for a polished corporate restaurant this isn’t it — but if you want something personal, quirky, and genuinely delicious, Prince & I is absolutely worth visiting.
Would definitely come back.“

“Surprised to find decent Xinjiang food in Manhattan.
Ding ding fried noodles were quite authentic, just a bit salty. Lamb pilaf wasn’t greasy, which I liked. Lamb skewers were tender and not gamey.
Service was okay but a bit inexperienced — had to remind for water.
Overall, good food, service could be better.“

“The curries are my fav! Dumplings are yum, and if you are a meat eater try Korean bbq short rib, it’s beyond! 😋“
“For the busyness of the financial district this restaurant is your oasis of calm.
Music has a great vibe and the staff are wonderful.
We were so hungry I forgot to take pics.
I had spring rolls, tom yum soup and a spicy shrimp dish with veggies and peanuts.
Wine selection small but really good choices.“

“The interior feels more refined than you might expect at first glance, with a modern and elegant design. The food was good, although it didn’t particularly stand out for our tastes. Still, a pleasant place for dinner in a comfortable setting.“

“Paid 11.95 for the lunch combo c-- 8 fat dumplings and a foil bag of spicy chicken. It came with a coke, which I don't drink and wish they'd asked me if I wanted to swap. The dumplings came with a vinegary garlic sauce that I drenched them in. The skin was thin and the pork and chive filling was a little on the dense side, which is not a bad thing, just a matter of taste.
The spicy chicken definitely lacked depth and spice. The spicy mayo was also not spicy...“

“The food is simply A-level. So flavorful and authentic and makes me nostalgic. Service is nice and the atmosphere is clean, air conditioned, and it doesn’t get too loud during rush hours. Will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone craving for Asian food in Jersey!!“

“I’ve been going here for around 3 or 4 years and the food is amazing I love their original crossing bridge noodle soup and their salty chicken. As someone with autism They are one of my safe foods for me, and right across from them is another store I like to go to after I eat! This restaurant is amazing and I think it’s a hidden gem in Brooklyn“

“Food was very tasty, just a tad bit oily for my preference. Ordered 3 dishes for 3 people and would say that it was super filling. It gave a sense of nostalgia in the way it tastes homemade and fresh (crab on blue crab dish was a dead crab, only downside) would not recommend the blue crab dish as they gave a mushy dead crab, but the fried rice under it was something that made up for it. ordered the sweet and sour pork rice and the seafood rice cake which were both excellent. Overall had a good experience and i want to bring more friends and family here. prices are really good too!!“

“When I came to New York for a concert in February or March, I stayed at a ramen shop near my place. They also had sauerkraut fish, spicy hot pot, barbecue, and many other things. The food was pretty good, and it was quite crowded during mealtimes, with tables turning over frequently. On a cold night, slurping down a bowl of noodles was so satisfying, especially since the taste was really good and the price was very reasonable. If it weren't just for two people, I would have ordered a lot more.“

“Still my favorite crossing bridge location in 8 Avenue. Very flavored broth and for a time frame now they stopped charging tips and it's more self service.
So you ordered in the front and for crossing bridge noodles you can either request them to put in everything or have them take it out with each ingredient and put in everything yourself. It's also not as busy back in the day so usually there isn't any wait time.“

“What a hidden Brooklyn gem! Tucked into the beautiful Industry City Japan Village, Gohei has delicious Udon for great prices. The vibe is great, with music playing, and a bar exclusively for Gohei customers. The staff members are lovely and the fresh pulled noodles are a delight. Go to Gohei! 🍜“

“Recently open and the place is phenomenal. The food is cheap and affordable. Service is superior aka fast and no tip unless you want to. We had the steam pork buns, the fuzhou wonton soup, noodles with peanut sauce and the mei fen with beef tripe soup. I got the pan fried pork buns to go. It was super good and tasteful. I will so come back again with Jo regrets. I recommend it 297372727%“

“Decent neighborhood noodle shop, my lover always orders the beef tendon soup with an extra tea egg, I will get the vegetarian version. I will say they have a killer tea egg, soup is pretty good too, the noodles I am not sure if they are handpulled or not, I have never seen them making the noodles. I am giving it four stars because their soup is sometimes inconsistent. Anyways we have not eaten here in awhile, but the last time my lover brought the noodles home they were 5 star.“

“A store front Cantonese restaurant. I got their congee and I liked it. They sell Char Siu, soy sauce chicken, rice dishes. Most of the time when I go to 8th avenue, I would go to buy their foods. They are nearby the N train station, it's about two minutes walk.“

“We were visiting this Chinese neighborhood in Brooklyn and one of the employees recommended this restaurant for noodles. It was amazing, really one of the best places we have eaten and seemed very authentic. This is very much understated, a hole in the wall with a relatively simple menu. You pay cash, the food comes out. Piping hot for dining in or takeout, fresh, delicious, and when you are done you have already paid. So you just leave. Leave. There were many people came in while we were eating in which says to me that this is a favored neighborhood joint. Highly recommended.“

“Gotta admit, the food was great — no complaints there, absolutely flawless. But the service attitude left me feeling pretty disappointed and uncomfortable. I was dining here today on a rainy day when a delivery man came in to pick up an order. He waited quietly while one of the servers was taking another table’s order. From what I could tell, he just wanted to confirm he had the correct order before leaving. After finishing with the table, the server spoke to him in a way that came across as rude and impatient. I don’t remember the exact words, but the tone and expression — like she was visibly annoyed — made the situation uncomfortable to watch. The delivery man looked to be around his 50s or 60s, and honestly, I just felt bad for him. I hope delivery man are treated with a little more kindness and patience. It was raining, and he was simply trying to do his job.“

“We were at the Riviera and the waitress was so rude we decided to change restaurants and came here instead. To be honest, we were a little bit afraid of the service we would get, but it turned out to be all the opposite, super nice waitress with a smile on her face , yeah this is what we needed after 14 hours of travelling!“
