Lan zhou noodles Reviews
Food is very good here. No frill and simply a good meal. Ordered beef noodles and bunch of skewers. The portion is great and meat is very fresh and flavorful. The place is not fancy but in good condition. Highly recommended
Very down-to-earth, local, traditional Chinese restaurant where the environment is quite noisy from the lady talking to the phone and relaying the orders into the back kitchen. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. one of the best thing about this place is, YOU DONT HAVE TO TIP. This is the "Feilong Noodle King" restaurant recently written about in the NYT. We ordered the clear broth beef noodle soup and the braised beef noodle soup (A1 and A2 on the menu). I preferred the braised beef but both had really delicious broth and perfectly chewy noodles. The sauteed water spinach (watercress on the menu) was a great garlicky side. Lamb burger also good but outshone by the noodle soup. The staff were friendly and funny. Will be back for the pickled fish!
