“Just tried Fava Restaurant & Bar and I'm blown away by their delicious Mediterranean menu! The steak pita was to die for, and the spicy feta was some of the best I've ever had. Plus, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend! #FavaRestaurant“
“This was another first for us but after reading the reviews we decided to try it. We went around 6:00 so we were seated right away. Service was fast. My son wanted a burger my husband ordered the steak sandwich and french onion soup and I ordered the shrimp scampi. The only thing I was a little disappointed was that the shrimp scampi came with nothing you had to pay to put rice and broccoli as sides so that made it a little pricey about $40. We didn't wait long for the food and the food was delicious none of us had any complaints very tasty nice size portions. Once we received our food the restaurant became a little bit more crowded and then nobody ever came over again to ask us if we needed anything or even wanted dessert. So we just asked for the check. In total for two drinks, a Shirley Temple a soup and three entrees the check was about $100 which we thought was very reasonable. The food was delicious and again the service was good up until the end when they got a little busier but other than that I think we would definitely go back. We parked on the street. The parking lot isn't that big but I think you can find plenty of parking in the neighborhood.“
“Had my mom’s surprise party here and I can’t say enough about this place. It wasn’t our first time here and definitely won’t be our last. Tanya the manager was extremely helpful , sweet, and easy to communicate with since day one. The staff is super friendly, food is great, and the music, dancing and atmosphere overall is all you could ask for. Can’t wait to be back for another party already! Highly recommend!“
“food was very delicious and service was exceptional. everything came out in a timely manner, we had Gazi (i might have spelled that wrong sorry!) as our server and he was excellent and very sweet. had a wonderful night and will definitely be coming back!“
“Wonderful Lebanese counter with 2 tables inside. Their food is fresh and tasty, reasonably priced with meat and vegetarian offerings. Plus, they deliver!Unlike most Middle Eastern shawarma places , they have other Lebanese dishes like moussaka (Lebanese not Greek), and spinach pies, mujaddara, kibbeh and koshari.“
“Sorry to say oysters...frozen and very watery. But caprese salad, pork and risotto, lemoncello chicken were very good. Topped off the meal with cappuccino, espresso, sambuca and tartufo.... wonderful. Expansive view of the commercial waterway is outstanding...tugs, cargo and hugh transports right at your table!! I think my guest really enjoyed her 90th birthday lunch.“
“Recently visited Sahara Mediterranean Grill in Staten Island and was thoroughly impressed. The Grand Mix Meal was exceptional, a true testament to the authentic Mediterranean flavors they promise. Not only was the food remarkable, but the beautiful waitresses and the restaurant's captivating aesthetic contributed to a memorable dining experience.“
“Thanks Yelp for helping us to find Lebanese Eatery. We detoured off 95 to this Staten Island gem, and it was absolutely worth it. Delicious chicken schwarma, cheese manaish, lentil soup & falafel. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Truly authentic Lebanese food!“
“Great dinner! My friends and I enjoyed 5-6 different appetizers, both hot and cold. There are a ton of menu options to choose from. We enjoyed the parsley salad, Laila’s combo which included four different dips (baba ganoush, hummus, muhamara and a yogurt based dip), octopus entree, cauliflower with tahini sauce, and the mini hot pies. All very delicious!! They also had a belly dancer perform through the dinning room. Fun atmosphere. Staff very kind and friendly.“
“We celebrated with them on Tuesday evening. We were alone. Plenty of space, nice atmosphere. We ordered a lot of appetizers, but only the main course for the child. My daughter was hungry until we finished with the appetizers... we had to ask the waiter to bring food for her quickly.Cork fee $10 per unit if you had it with you;))Everything except the salmon shish kebab was delicious.Tried half the appetizers and 7 main courses.“
“I was introduced to this hidden gem by an Albanian client a while back, and I finally had the chance to experience it. Without a doubt, it has become my absolute favorite restaurant on the island. What's even more enticing is its affordability. We ordered 5 dishes and 4 bottles of water, added a 20% tip, and each of us (a group of 4) paid only $26. We were even left with delicious leftovers to savor later. The value for money here is truly outstanding, and I hope it stays that way! ?One unique aspect is that they don't offer an English menu; everything is in Albanian. However, the warm and welcoming waitress went out of her way to assist us with our choices, patiently explaining each dish. I highly recommend trying the following:1. Qebaba (resembling kebab): The taste is nothing short of amazing – an absolute MUST-ORDER!2. Mish vici ne furre (veal in the oven): It boasts a tender texture and a superbly delicious flavor – another MUST-ORDER!3. Gullash (beef stew): This one is my personal FAVORITE, and I can't recommend it enough!! It's served with bread, which has a delightful combination of a crunchy exterior and a soft interior that's simply delightful.4. Speca me kajmak (pepper in white cream): This dish is also highly enjoyable.5. Ground beef potato: A pretty good choice, and the leftovers are perfect for taking to work the next day, heating up into a super delicious meal.Last but not least, if you have a sweet tooth, they have a plenty of coconut-flavored desserts that will surely satisfy your craving.“
“Grilled chicken panini was delicious, so flavorful, I added some of the house made olive spread which made it even better. Everything seemed cooked to order. Owner came to check on us and make sure we were happy with everything-we were! Definitely recommend!“
“There was an uncontrollable sudden delivery issue for my lunch today. The owner himself came and delivered in an absolutely awesome display of customer service. I would have understood had I known his circumstance entirely . The food was delicious, the desserts just awesome . I just can't say enough how much I appreciated all the effort for my little lunch. Please give them a try I will be telling everyone I know to go here.“
