“I've been looking forward to trying this restaurants menu items. yesterday was only the 1st, for sure. I had a shrimp po boy, perfect, packed with shrimp, just the right sauces, really good. I took home a container of their vegan lentil soup which is better than my lentil soup. that's not a small thing. beautifully balanced flavor, really delicious. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.“

“Was in Printers Alley this weekend with my parents for the first time staying in a hotel nearby and found this place really nice and chill with good food, loads of TVs for games with a big NFL game on while we were in - We sat at the bar as a lot of the tables were reserved but Thomas was so nice and took great care of us while checking in regularly with us to make sure we were okay while also giving my parents a laugh and recommendations on what to do around the city. Can't fault this bar at all and will definitely be back next time in NYC!“

“I wanted to express what a delight Time Out Market location brought my daughter and I. We were on a 3 hour tour, and they stopped at DUMBO for photo opts and mentioned this place of business as a reference to where the free public restroom was. 😆 Our ears perked up because we heard pickles. After we explored the views, we went in and ordered some deep fried pickles and a pint of dill to go. Those were the best deep fried pickles we've ever enjoyed. The batter on them was unlike anything we've had and the dipping sauce was delicious. We got back to the hotel room, at 10:30 at night and devoured the entire container of pickles and drank all the juice. This was the third day that we were in NYC and we've done a lot of exploring, and that $6 pint of pickles was all we needed to refresh for our trip home the next day. “The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “I’ve always been a fan of the Commodore so was delighted this opened up closer to me with the same menu. They make a perfect blended mint mojito, great queso, and have awesome atmosphere. There’s outdoor seating once it warms up so it’s a great place to drop by for a couple drinks and snacks! The bartenders are great and sociable and the bar has matchbooks. Don’t know what else you’d want!“

I thought at first it was going to taste like pure butter, they’re is actually a nice balance of butter, salt, and a flavor that can only be described as butterscotch I suppose. They also stack this ice cream super high, so for the price you really get your money’s worth. I also got the bag of biscuits. They were buttery and tasted really homemade. I honestly ate the whole bag in a day because they were so good. The butter they came with was also really good. I can’t wait to come back here so I can try more!“

“We worked with Craig and his team to cater our wedding and host our rehearsal dinner, the experience was incredible -- 10/10, no notes. Craig is a pleasure to communicate with and has a calm way while being very well versed in the catering business with many years of experience working with other local vendors in BK. He went above and beyond to help us with tableware rentals and his team set up our reception dinner perfectly. Most importantly, the food is insanely good! Salmon and chicken were cooked to perfection with the sweet spot amount of seasoning, the oxtail bolognese is insane. Having tried them all, we wholeheartedly recommend all of the Peaches locations - the fried chicken and kale salad at Hothouse, the amazing brunch at Lewis, dinner at Prime, all so great.“

“Was in Harlem and wanted some good food, this place popped up. We called before going, and was told that there was not a wait. Arrived just 5 minutes later and that was not the case. The host was pleasant, offered us cornbread and water while we waited. Our server was lack luster, she was so busy being busy she completely missed the mark at every opportunity. The food took a while to come out but it was good. Atmosphere comfortable. Would be willing to try again.“

The queso is very much on par with what you’d get at a Ninfa’s. Pricing is remarkably reasonable across the board. This is quickly becoming my favorite spot in NYC.“

I got the chili chicken leg with fries combo, which was made to order. The dish was beautifully presented and the chicken was perfectly cooked. However, I thought that the seasoning was unexpectedly sweeter than I would have liked. I appreciate that gloves were offered.

Beware that if you dine in, there is only a portable AC that absolutely struggled to perform; I found the temperature inside unbearably hot. I felt bad for the staff, who were fantastic.

I'd come again to try something else, though maybe for takeout instead.“

“Texas Star serves really good breakfast options. I always order scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sausage (hot sausage, pork links, or patties). Breakfast is always served fresh and made to order. The bacon and sausage are bursting with flavor. The omelettes and sunny side up eggs are also tasty. The portions are very filling, I usually have leftovers that warm up well for the next day. The staff are consistently professional. The food tastes like it's home cooked and saves me from cooking when I'm not up to it. I highly recommend for breakfast.“

“I was in the mood for GOOD soul food last weekend. I went in my Yelp app and realized there weren't much options close to Flatbush area. I drove to Katie O Soul and liked there was a short line and DJ outside. One window opened a wonderful young lady asked if I have eaten there before and I said no.
I love the tiny sample cups and spoons because you try before you buy and know exactly what to order once you get to the cashier. The frozen pina colada was super creamy and perfect amount of sweetness. The Mac and cheese and candied yams were a perfect combo for me. The fried chicken wings were well seasoned like someone granny made it.
Be prepared to wake because I was there over 10 mins and my food was piping hot like the chicken was just fried. I will definitely be back for the customer service and food.
