I visited Melba’s on a cold ‘spring’ Friday night around 9 pm. The restaurant was around 75-80% capacity during my visit. The hostess was very nice and gave us a few options where we could be seated. It took 15 minutes to actually be attended to, I’m not sure why there isn’t at least 2 waitresses in the large dining area, but afterwards the service improved. Good soul food, great service and excellent atmosphere . Open late and in a safe area. The Jamaican Oxtails and fried chicken was delicious. There are vegetarian and vegan options as well.Vegetarian options: Vegan options too
